Quentin Tarantino grew up watching blacksploitation movies with his mother and her boyfriends, has an unlimited budget, and has already shown a wonderful attention to detail and set design for period pieces in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. Take Mike's premise and give it to Quentin for the wildest and most unexpected sequel of all time

I like mikes pitch for the rocketeer 2, but knowing the current state of politics in hollywood and the lack of talented writers and ideas if that movie was actually going to be made I fear it would be ghostbusters 2016 levels of garbage.
So it turns out the Rocketeer “sequel” is a shittily animated Disney Junior (yes junior, like for toddlers) show. Just so you really don’t get your hopes up for Mike’s good pitch.

Rich beating up that doll has to be one of my favorite RLM moments ever. And there's a strange extra catharsis on the doll being voiced by Mike lol
It’s cathartic to me because my grandparents got me that same doll when I was a kid, and it MORTIFIED ME. I told my parents it would talk to me at night and that he scared me… Mind you, this was right around the time Child’s Play came out, so you can understand why I was concerned.
That red stain is a good story, for another time.
I think he explained it at one point on Previously Recorded (RIP) or something. I'm pretty sure he said it was a leaky pen.

So, I went from the first part, and the next video in line was "Best of RLM part 2".
But it was someone else's part 2, and not your's. So, I got lost on his playlist for a while, wondering why you forgot that you had already used some parts in your first video, before realizing I had been horribly derailed by the algorithm.

At 38 minutes Culkin shows up, and destroys the last 22 minutes. It took them long enough to realize that it was cool at first having a formerly famous child actor around, and then it wasn't. They finally just had to tell him to go home, alone. Go leech off some other channels talent and popularity, you're weighing us down. It took them FOREVER to cut that guy loose.

I guess I am the moid who's screaming at the absolute retardedness of the proposed sequel to the rocketeer. I love the comics and the original movie. It could maybe work with a passing the torch motif, but I would just rather have new characters and not the repurposing of already beloved ones to meet an imaginary requirement that we used to call tokenism but apparently now its all fine.
