I honestly would be interested to see how an orzhove humans list would do in legacy being able to play jirina, dauntless general(etd exile grave of target player ontop of being able to sack her to give all your humans hexproof and indestructible) most of your humans are also soldiers so there are probably some soldier payoffs that could be nice.
Also the fact ur playing humans brings me joy The realization they Adeline creates taped and attacking tokens made me laugh, cards super pushed for a standard card. Definently on of my favorite cards
I don’t think the a deed for 3 is that huge for them there? Like, it would clear adeline, but it clears all of their beans and then you have a second adeline, i think you win anyway
Yeah, I believe there should definitely be some Caverns, this is a tribal deck with a low curve, an Aether Vial and Wasteland, it's a card MADE for that type of deck (speaking as a Goblin player here XD). The only card it can't play is Swords, and the situations where you can't play Swords because of Cavern are rare.
After seeing the Curie, I wonder if round 1 opponent was actually Dimir Stiflenought with Abhorrent Oculus and just never found a Phyrexian Dreadnought in either game.
Goblin are really well positioned at the moment. But as ever, it's a hard deck to play so it's less tempting to play than a reanimator pile or breakfast
Slaps. I do think it's worth going two colour, probably orzhov and running cavern and then something like kitesail freebooter over Thalia as it survives bow master and serves a similar role against reanimator and combo.
Even though you won game 2 of match 1, I think you should’ve played coppercoat as a bait spell and played the rest in peace around daze- especially in the face of two goyfs. It blanks their removals spells with ward if it resolves, and if it gets dazed, that’s a daze they don’t have for your rest in peace!
I'm sure Phil has addressed this in the past, but commenters might be interested in explaining why I'm wrong- with a heavily type-syngeristic deck like Humans, why would one not bring at least some copies of Cavern of Souls, especially with free counters coming back to the format with the death of Vexing Bauble?
Yeah, that was an oversight and I didn't catch it until I already started recording. That's what you get for snagging lists from small events as your starting point!
Pioneer doesn’t have champion of the parish (which is the only reason this deck even works) Nor does it have path, mother of runes, aether vial, nor are your opponents putting a single big threat into play on turn 1 or 2 for you to target with path. This comparison isn’t even apples to oranges, it’s like riding a bicycle vs flying a plane
If anything, play zombie tribal with champion of the perished in pioneer and tell me you don’t get results, that almost a more fair comparison, but also not really
Fun fact, you had to read the comment to respond so accurately. ThrabenU is actually my favorite magic creator by far, and he knows Aether Vial is unplayable. So it saddens me seeing him choose to still play it.
@@TraeKryzer YOU did! Yorion WB D&T is tied for 3.6% (7th) on MTGgoldfish. I wouldn't advise insulting the Aether Vial Cartel; I hear they have Apparitions everywhere.
In round five you brought in all fifteen cards!! Wow!
That's when you know the matchup is bad!
This deck honestly did way better than I thought it would. Humans are back

I was going to make a similar comment! Opposition Agent is also a human.

Hell yeah! Humans are back baby! Love seeing decks that just turn dudes sideways 😎😎😎
It's just good, honest Magic.
What do you think about running Caverns?

Yeah, I think that's reasonable to assume.
How about a Soldiers tribal? I think Suppression Field is good against a lot of decks rn.
Tribal decks may be dead as we know them. They're just powercrept out.
idk, NSG muxus goblins was strong enough to eat bans
@andrewwang7699 yeah, and after Mind Goblin got kicked to the curb, how many Goblin builds have had good results?

Its all about a good synergy piece. Eldrazi is balling in legacy and modern (but that's more of an mh3 thing ig)
I'm trying a variation of this deck in a legacy tournament n seeing how it plays with a few modifications with my team
Slaps.

Why isn't order of the sacred torch played in these humans decks
I really want opponent 5's decklist it looks so sweet

he addresses it in this video too :P and basically agrees with putting them in

Werewulf never made sense to me. It's a human wolf creature. Should get buffs from both. That is, we know, the privilege of the werewolf.
Neat
MULL TO 2!!!!!!!!!!
Tribal deck wouldn’t be dead if wizards would just powercreep them like they keep doing to control and combo trash…
someone reminded me they powercreeped eldrazi. does that make you happy? :P
Time for 1 mana Thalia?
This deck isn’t even good in pioneer I’m curious how it works out in legacy

Aether Vial in deck, actually unwatchable
