Vanny scared me to death in this, it's impressive how she has the same mechanics as the animatronics but only she can really scare the player
It’s cause of that atmosphere that she makes with your screen, as well as the music and the animation is pretty scary too
but her just spouting the same 2 voicelines makes it a lot less spooky…

Honestly the small fog effect added to the pizzaplex really makes it more scary.
i wish Vanny was more present in the actual game, just spawning her in the atrium already gave such a different vibe to the game, they probably cut every instance of her actually being a threat in the final game cuz they wanted to appeal to younger audiences more, that hurt the game so bad, i am crossing my fingers the Ruin DLC can add to the game and be more creepy and even maybe that they go back and re-add the stuff missing to the base game on launch, they cut so much..
yeah, so many removed areas, voice lines and possibly characters from the game just because of the unexpected deadline, wish they could've spent at least a year more to polish the game
funny enough that it was supposed to be a *horror* game yet they didn't make it scary
Actually vanny was originally gonna be like a stalker enemy if you stay in area long enough her bar fills but there was a bug with it so they scrapped it
It might seem crazy what I'm about to say...
Why younger audiences anyway? The game being free roam added a lot of place for scariness. They could keep it happy and scary at some parts.

Vanny scares me, I feel like she knows where you are even if you’re not in hiding or not in her line of sight, the sound everytime she’s close by scares me everytime
The RTX makes the game a whole lot more immersive and nerve wrecking

hearing vanny echoing "are you having fun yet?" with the rtx it makes it feel kinda creepy
hearing chica's cut valley girl lines is really interesting. i kinda wish more of the cut content made it into the final patch :/

I've tried running this game with RTX on (3070ti), and it will just not run smoothly. Even on the lowest settings, just having it on kept making everything stutter.

I really hate how even with a T rating they still tried to make this abundantly kid friendly... like removing the fact that Freddy was supposed to call out the fact that Gregory was bleeding in the intro. I mean, even though according to theories, Gregory is a robot, and human robots still bleed in the canon that is this universe. They opted to say broken (I get it, LOOOOOOOOOORE), but the attempt to make this kid friendly is.... yeah, especially in a world where they MURDER CHILDREN. Also, they really didn't need to cut Vanny as heavy as they did. Rant over.
