one of the songs from the (Outlaw chronicles) E.P inspiration for this song came from a buddy of mine's pappaw that told a story about a man that was arrested for growing some plants and he escaped out of jail and was on the run, he climbed a tree and then went tree to tree to try and outsmart the dogs, i believe it was in Tennessee where the story took place originally.It didn't really work out for him, but i took that story and made a song, in my version the grandfather fills the grandsons head full of cool storys and he goes out in the woods and lives out the tales. i mean who dont like a oldschool outlaw tale. hope yall enjoy (hounds can't climb)
