It has a small block, but can't make out the engine call out badge; it could be either a 283 or 327. The base engine even for the SS was a 250 straight six: I knew a young guy who bought one that way on purpose to cut down on insurance costs.
I never noticed before that the 1964 Impala had windsplits both front and rear.
Amazing the appearance difference between the 1963 Impala [brash] and the 1964 Impala [dignified].
This one not only has stock wheels and wheel covers, there is no continental kit nor fender skirts!

A year ago I got a black '67 Impala 4 door just like the one from that show Supernatural. Then in August this year, right as I'm finishing it's restoration, my brother shows up with a '64 just like this. Now we're prepping them both, along with Mom and Dad's '72 Oldsmobile 442, gonna road trip them in the Spring.

We are located in Volo, IL. Mr. Nemec was a good friend of the owners of Volo Museum & from our general area of Chicago. He did pass away recently(exactly when I'm unsure at the moment.). We were told he always enjoyed watching our videos, so we had the sign made. He got to see & know of the sign before passing. ♥
