@@StreakerMarine Yes definitely much heavier. Trident more of a bay boat / beginner boat. edit: just looked up stats, Trident 690 1130 kg hull, YF 70 1186 kg. So doesn't seem as much there. I think the millennium hull just creates too much flat surface slapping the water, verse a traditional hull shape like the YF. Good a rest no doubt.
What price difference are we talking between the Trident 690 and YellowFin 7000?

Looks like a bit of hull slap for very small chop. Hull too light, is the Yellowfin much heavier ?
The Yellowfin is heavier and a completely different hull design. The Trident is more stable at rest and the Yellowfin is better under way.
