They hate the scapegoat because they project all their insecurities onto us and use us as an emotional trash can so they don't have to deal with their own problems. People either submit to the attempt to destroy their self esteem or fight and call out the truth which makes them more vicious. He's chosen the lonely path but it's one of integrity and acceptance of the truth rather than denial. I'm glad he has God on this journey. Michele Lee Nieves here on youtube helped me a lot with my healing from narcissistic abuse.
