Against tendonitis, I can only recommend super slow eccentrics at low weight. Like 30-50 rep 5 sec eccentric triceps pushdowns at 2.5 - 5 kg. Or biceps curls with 2.5 kg. Again, focusing on very slow eccentric. Boring as hell but only thing that ever helped my tendonitis. Good luck!

I am considering it. My reason for initially watching videos like these was because a climbing gym opened up close to my house. I am in my fifties, not a barrier but also not as strong and fit as I once was. It definitely is on the cards, but got a major building project planned, then will look at doing it after that. If we had of had climbing gyms, like there are today, readily available when I was young, I have no doubt it would have been my sport of choice, and I would have given a lot of time to it. (Magnus has very definitely inspired me).
Juji is such a nice person from like 2:42-4:25 just a genuine dude. Also, going to my first rock climbing gym next week because of finding your channel so pretty excited about that!

Magnus, in Germany some pro climbers (Kim Marschner, Moritz Hans,...) did really well on Ninja Warrior. I think you would beat them though. A bit of special training for more of the stuff, which is unrelated to climbing and I think you can win this. If you don't have it in Norway, it will get there eventually I guess.

Can I just say that when Tom said you put in 2x the work in videos than him, he wasn't kidding, I love both the styles, the channels, I saw Alex Honnald on Joe Rogan Podcast, and I was interested in climbing (did some as a kid on real rocks) so when randomly youtube suggested "pro climber +80lb vs bodybuilder" I was like "yeah, it's unfair for the climber" and you owned that vest. Made those climbs look too easy! The combo of different professional weights/muscle difference trying things for fun, so great to watch/motivate.
I have inflammed tendons in both my forearms and this makes me wanna climb so bad! Love the collab btw! Been subscribed to both of your channels for month now!

i tried bouldering yesterday for the first time. it looks so easy in the videos but its soo god damn hard and your finger hurt so much
Andulas is yeah try and do easier walls and start training your finger strength before going on crispy holds.
