Blumberg (G - BW) The bells of St. Andrew's

This video presents the bells c1 -e♭ -f1 -g1 -h♭1 [do3 -mi♭3 -fa3 -sol3 -si♭3] of St. Andrew's church in Blumberg, southern Germany.
➥ New bells were ordered for the new St. Andrew's church in Blumberg in 1957. The bell foundry Schilling in Heidelberg took three bells from 1948 in payment and created a new, five-part peal in the middle but progressive bell shape.
Renovated in 2023, the bells were fortunately able to retain their dynamic setting quite well, especially the larger bells. Fortunately, the rib progression was obviously taken into account during the adjustment.
Due to the impressive tower acoustics, the chimes have an impressive and balanced sound effect, especially in front of the church.

Ganz was schönes hast da wiedermal reingestellt😁 bei euch wird ja ein Geläute am anderen saniert, wobei ich sagen muss, an den Läutwinkeln wird heutzutage sehr gespart🤔 anders bei diesem Geläute - bis auf die 2 mit immer wieder Aussetzern, gut eingestellt

With most sets with 5-6 bells, you usually can't here the smallest one as good as maybe the next bells. As said in the description, it is a well thought out set, the bells' profiles gradually gets thinner allowing the smaller bells sounds to be heard clearer. Another thing I want to note, the bells have a clean, slightly gravelly sound which is a result you want. Definatetly a beautiful set.

Wow, hier merkt man wieder, wie sehr Glocken von einem Holzglockenstuhl und geraden Holzjochen profitieren. Es klingt großartig.

Ich mochte es tatsächlich davor auch ganz gerne, weil es hier wie teilweise so schön geschmettert hat. Aber dieser Zustand ist im Gesamtklang durchaus gleichwertig.

Das ist seit langem mal wieder ein sehr schönes Ein und Ausschwingen vom Plenum. Die Glocken einzeln nacheinander mit ein bisschen Abstand zu zuschalten finde ich viel besser, als alle auf einmal an zumachen.

Hier merkt man mal wieder, dass hier mit Gefühlt und von Hand eingeschaltet wurde!

Comme toujours, un chef-d'œuvre de la fonderie d'HEIDELBERG (finement restauré, en plus de cela) !

Plutôt la fonderie de FWS (Heidelberg) jusqu'en 1971). Après sa mort subite, c'est Karlsruhe (avec Karl Stumpf) qui l'avait reprise avec sa nouvelle raison sociale HEIDELBERGER GLOCKENGIESSEREI. Sans mauvaise intention.
