Excited for The Housemaid is Watching. Comes out on my birthday definitely picking it up!
I am excited about The Housemaid is Watching, too!
Daisy! So cute! ☺️
So many of these books sound good! 🕰 🌙
P.S. Love the Blackmore University sweater! 🔪😱
Awww thank you, halko! She's my little tiny terror. 🤭
And thanks for noticing the sweatshirt! You're the first person to know where it's from. 🔪😁
Appreciate you! 🤗🕰🌙
Oh my, your cat is so cute!! I’m on the same page with Ruth Ware. 🤔
Awww thank you @allieblank5992 ! 🤗
This is my first time coming across your channel and I have to tell you, you’re like sunshine in a person 🥹😍
OH MY GOODNESS! HOW SWEET!!!! Thank you so much @kirstywilliams679 ! You've just made my day. 🤗🥰🖤
@@NakiasHideaway you’re so welcome ✨🤍
Woohoo, new John Marrs!
😂 I don’t wanna die that made me laugh 😂
Hi Daisy!!!! She is so cute. So many good books for 2024. Yes Daylight Savings Time. Gets dark so early. ⏲
Awww thank you @tammiegipson8870 ! She's my little tiny terror. 🤭
Appreciate you! 🤗⏲
Besides The Perfect Couple, I didn’t realize how many were coming out about reality shows and I love reality tv 🤭 I will be adding lots of these to my tbr!!
I know right, Ty! And we have to find one to buddy read. 😉
Yes we must!!! 😬
Oh gosh, love me some Molly Grey! I really like the mysteries in the hotel trope, so I'm very interested in The Concierge one! Hmmm. That Jason Pinter sounds good too - as a true crime junkie myself, it's unsurprising LOL
The Redemption of Morgan Bright!!!! Eep! I love Chris Panatier!! I have the ARC for that one to read and I'm dying!
I knooowwww! So many promising 2024 releases, right, Lezlie?! 📚🙆🏾♀️
I have a few of these waiting in the wings either from library or Netgalley. The Search Party, The Fury (which I'll be starting this weekend), The Clinic. There are more on your list that intrigues me.
Oh I love this @BookishIntrovert63 ! You'll have to let me know how you enjoy them.
So far, I've only read one Riley Sager book. "The Only One Left". I really enjoyed that one and gave it 5 stars. Maybe I'll give his new book a try.
You've been summoned sounds kinda like Murder in the Family, and I really liked that so I had to add this new one to my list!
And now I need to look into Murder in the Family. Thanks @thiswitchburnsforbooks ! 😊
@@NakiasHideaway it’s cool. It’s like multi media and it’s done as a Netflix documentary trying to solve a cold case. It was done really well. And fun to try and solve.
I am really excited for Everyone on This Train is a Suspect by Benjamin Stevenson, coming out Jan 30. I loved Everyone in my Family Has Killed Someone.
I love Stuart Turton. I have my preorder in :-)
I wish I enjoyed that one @krisprepolec5616 . 🙈😄 Hope you enjoy his 2024 release!
I can't wait for The House that Horror Built. I already requested it from my local library.
Yes, loved her book that takes place in mountains. It had me up late at night. Couldn't sleep.
8:07 sounds good
I hope at least half of these don't disappoint.
The silent patient was the first book I read of Alex Michaelides. I say the name like Mckayla-DEES.
The clinic: the author is gonna be at our local
Super cozy mystery bookshop here in Houston today in like 42 minutes. We just saw yer video last night tho, so aren’t staying for the discussion (to avoid spoilers). But we did swing by to get a book and get it personalized for us! Almost got you one “to the DNF queen herself, Nakia,… but don’t you dare!” Or something silly lol!
Hahaha! How sweet of you! I would've taken a signed copy. 😁
Hope you enjoy it @eliotopian ! 🤗
The AI books are making me think of The New One by Evie Green. I put a few on my GR. Happy Reading!
I have not heard of The New One so I'll have to look into it. Hope your 2024 reading year has been off to a good start. 📚😊
Forgot to mention. Love the way you say "murder"
😄😄😄 Thank you!
I DNF’ed Murder Road because really early into it I realized I was not going to vibe with the protagonists.
I’m very excited to try another Alex Finlay .
Hi Daisy! 🕰️
Daisy says "Hi" right back @rebekahmackenzie ! 🐾
Thank you so much! 🤗🕰
I mostly liked The Clinic. I’ll be honest, it hasn’t stuck with me, but it was a good time
The Redemption of Morgan Bright is definitely going to be an audible selection for me. I have The Last Party on my shelf, maybe I should read it. 😂
I am not sure about Ghost Station. Dead Silence was sooooooooooooooooo horrible I’m not sure I can bare to try again. ⏰⏰⏰
Hahaha! You and me both @CookieCoCo_OG ! 🙈😄
Thanks so much! 🤗⏰
I’m currently reading The Last Party by Clare, it’s not necessary to read it first.
Oh thank you so much for letting me know @ronettewinston1706 ! 🙏🏾
Is it good so far?
Five nights sounds too good, but this genre scares me tho 😅
Oh my heart…..you didn’t enjoy The Overnight guest???? I absolutely loved it!!! Please do a review. I need details on your dislikes sis…..lol.
Sorry @ronettewinston1706 ! I think I talked about it in my January Wrap Up 2023. 🙊😄

Any really interesting books that do not include murder or someone dying?

Thanks so much @mrbrownroyyal ! Love all of the emojis! You're the best! 🤗⌛
Don't let people bother you about "proper name pronunciation." No matter what the so-called "official" pronunciation is supposed to be, individuals and individual families might still pronounce the names differently.
Ah, good to know! Thanks so much @JohnSeney ! 😉
I imagine if you or I travelled to France they’d pronounce our names differently. I have a French name with one French parent one German parent both cultures pronounce it differently and I live in Australia so I’ve heard my name pronounced all kinds of ways. My favourite is my Brazilian trainer. Sounds like a completely different name and I love that 😂
🕰 I just borrowed The Clinic from my library this morning!🤗
I like most of Heather Gudenkauf's stuff, will have to keep an eye out for that one. The Main Character, the new Housemaid book, The Family Experiment and The Medicine Woman of Galveston look intriguing too.
I suspect that if you've read one book by Lucy Foley you've read them all.😏
Hahaha! Good to know about Lucy Foley! So, sounds like I won't like The Midnight Feast. 👀🙊😄
Hope you enjoy The Clinic! You'll have to keep me posted. 😊
Thanks so much @Ciardisinferno99 ! 🤗🕰
🕰🌚 This is a great list! I am also curious about Stephen King, but I feel like his books are always too extreme for me 😅 I only have 1 anticipated read, it's the 4th book of the Gravekeeper series by Darcy Coates coming out Feb 13th! It's a YA Mystery series 😁
Exactly, Rosie! I'm scared. 🙈
It's so funny that you mentioned Darcy Coates Gravekeeper series because I just got her newsletter with an update about the 4th book but I had never heard of it. 🙊😁 Now I may have to check it out.
You're the best! 🤗🕰 (Love that moon emoji!) Hope you're having a good February reading month so far.
Okay I stand corrected. I didn't realize the Gravekeeper series is the one that started with The Whispering Dead. So of course I have heard of it. 🤦🏾♀ Not sure why I haven't read it so I will look into it.
@@NakiasHideaway it’s a really low stakes easy read in my opinion. I think I remember you expressing you prefer adult over YA, so I’m not sure if you’d like it, but I will say that compared to other YA books I’ve read this one feels a bit more mature!
@@NakiasHideaway and my February is definitely going much better than last month 😅 was struggling to focus on reading last month but I feel like I’m getting back to it now
@@journeywithrosie Yeah YA is not usually my thing but if the characters are more mature I might be able to deal. I'll still look into it. Thanks, Rosie!
Daisy’s 2nd cameo from the shelf, “ Who Me?” 😂😂😂😂😂🕰⏳
Yeah, my little tiny terror. 😄😄😄
Appreciate you @happycamper1372 ! 🤗🕰
🕰️ 🕰️
🤗🕰
I feel 2024 is going to be a great reading year. My anticipated list is:
1.) Ghost Station
2.) Middle of the Night
3.) Clown in a Cornfield 3
4.) Against the Darkness
5.) Somewhere Beyond the Sea
6.) How to Make a Horror Movie and Survive
7.) A Witch’s Guide to Magical Innkeeping
🕰🕰
Ooh nice list @horrorheadheather9287 ! I love it!
Thanks so much! 🤗🕰
⏲
Hahaha! Love that first clock! 😄 Thanks @Cottage-Reader ! 🤗⏲
