- Today, rapper Hoodie Allen stopped by Sway in the Morning. Surprisingly, this is Allen's first radio interview. He went on to talk about his Jewish parents acceptance of his rap career and meeting his producer in college. He also spoke about if he has ever dated a black woman before. Sway I think you crossed the lines in this interview. I understand you were trying to warm him up since he wasn't comfortable being on radio but your questions did nothing to promote him as an artist. Talking about his girlfriend and religion for 90% of the interview did not benefit anyone sure hes white and jewish so what. If drake were on the air you wouldn't bring that up once. I just saw your interview with DJ Vlad and are doing the opposite of what you were saying there, as a gatekeeper you are supposed to bring him up instead of make the interview a joke. I really hope you bring him back and do a better interview next time.

Im only 8 minutes in, but I hate that all they seem to be talking about is how Jewish Hoodie is. Hoodie's music is dope and he's super talented. He may not be a hardcore rapper, he may not be even rapping about stuff people agree with, but the kid is smart and talented and I think there is plenty of room in the industry for him. Ive been rocking with him for years, along i with millions of other people, and we've been waiting for opportunities like this for him to make it in. I just dont think the bulk of the conversation should be on him being white, or being jewish. They should have mention that once and then moved on to his music.

Hoodie Allen has great music, he loves his fans, and is incredibly smart and talented. I feel like none of that was touched on in this interview. Bummed that his true personality and skills didn't stand out in this. Still love him though and will support him forever!

Like Hoodie is insignificant compared to Drake. Drake has always been rich, he was on DEGRASSI. Hoodie went to UPENN with a scholarship. Oh my goodness, Hoodie you are greater man, you're better than Drake. Again, no hate to Drake but Sway come on...
