If it's a choice between Ihart and Randle, I'm keeping the guy that has basically given me Patrick Ewing numbers over the last 3 years than a guy who has had a good 3 month run. And if it's a choice between a cheaper Mitch and overpaying Ihart than I will take the 2nd best offensive rebounder in the entire NBA, the guy that can guard Joel Embiid straight up. To hell with cap space. You alredy got enough for a deep run for the next 3 years minimum.

Overpaying OG is one thing because he's a top 5 elite wing, and him and Mikal as wing defenders places the Knicks into a top-tier defensive team. I love Hartenstein, but I saw how Embiid was eating him up in the first round. I'd rather keep Mitch and find a big to sign for the veteran minimum.

don't people know by now how horrible bluetooth microphone sound especially earbuds? i own at least 30 different microphones and i would use any one of them before i ever use earbuds for something important. anyway knicks have to trade mitchell robinson along with mcbride to free up the cash to sign ihart. then sign andrew drummond as backup.
i do know actually, which is why I ask callers not to use them. In this case, I was asked to come on last minute and so I had to work with what I had. Anyway, the Knicks do not have to make those moves to sign IHart. There are a few ways to get to his max. Let's see what happens at 6pm

Because of Money issues with the NBA , the Knicks might not resign Isaiah , might also not want to continue with Mitchell because of all his injuries , and without our Centers , the Knicks could package Randle and Mitch , for a Superstar , at the 4 or at 5 ...
Randle , Robinson and Isaiah would cost us approximately 60 million next year , so forgetting Isaiah , and trading for the 2 others , that will bring us , and cost us about 45 million , so a 15 million difference , which is a lot , and may give us some flexibility

Trade Randle, see if we get something good back while still alleviating the cap space situation. We would have beaten the Pacers with a healthy OG and Mitch, PLUS we got Bridges now. Randle is a ball stopper and plays sus defense. See if they can trade him to open up cap space to fortify the team more. Knicks fans hate me for saying this, but you dont realize we got 9 mil to spend, we already over the cap (about 27 mil, Randle makes 28 mil next season, what a coincedence), and we only got 11 players under contract, with 9 mil to spend. Hate me all you want Knicks fans, this is the reality of the situation.

The Knicks shouldn't trade one of the top forwards in the league for peanuts. Randle played well with OG and JB when they were on the court together. Randle being on the court with JB/OG/Bridges and whomever the center will be gives them a better chance of making a deep run/winning a chip.
@@soramirez5473 what are you getting of value that puts up nearly the amount of production and shot creating as Randle. Randle takes away the redundancy from our big position which doesn’t have any shot creation. Keeping Randle give them the option to run small ball with Brunson hart/donte Mikal OG and him at the 5. Promise you will see that as a consistent end game lineup
