You guys are very lucky to have this guy very knowledgeable probably one of the first guys I've seen on UA-cam that really knows the organic no-till process I really enjoyed this
These guys are dope, yeah they may be market promoting or using layman's terms or even wiki terms but for the haters out their. They must have forgotten the lost generation of organic farming and the knowledge withheld from the city dwellers. At the very least these guys are motivators and showing easy ways for the average indoctrinated citizen to start revolting the system the correct way. Growing their own meds, foods and money. Props these guys are young and gettin it.
sorry to be off topic but does anyone know of a method to log back into an Instagram account? I somehow lost the login password. I would appreciate any assistance you can give me!
Great job guys!!!! I was lucky enough to grow up in a gardening family. Our Mom didn't waste anything ,we always recycled / composted everything , I'm in my mid 50's so we were doing it before it became nouveau. So it's great to see the new generations having such enthusiasm and respect for the whole web of life. Mainstream agriculture can learn a lot from you guys!I like to grind up all sorts of peels and add them . I think all the exotic terpenes from mango ,avocado, lychee, banana ,etc..... helps with the taste as well.Keep up all your great work.
We do this in our organic farm as well and it’s super effective. We grown 5000 lb on a little less of an acre. From tomatoes. Berries. Collards. Lettuces. It’s all the same feeding they need! And it’s cheaper and safer.
Lars Larsen y do u say that we need to go back to more organics to replenish the soil that's the problem now ir farm lands are depleted or nutrients from never replacing it but wondering what ur point is behind that?
@@matthewdickson7371 Theres farmers that have been doing this for YEARS...Its the standard for organic food farmers. I bet I could feed myself all summer on a earth pot like that...
Just wanna say I love you guys and all that u do! I switched my OP to a no till grow and haven't seen a problem since. my yeilds went up dramatically, the buds smoke amazing, terpenes are off the wall. Thanks so much Mendo dope & Minnesota Nice for helping spread this beautiful style of growing.
I've been following you guys for a few years now and can't put into words how thankful we are to all this amazing information. No-Till movement in full effect with MN Nice. Thank you for the video and dropping the knowledge bomb on us. #growerslove
no bragging but I've been doing this for about the last 10 of my 14 years of growing. I call it the poor man's grow, cause I can never afford to buy new dirt every year....i just 're amend my holes every may, and plant June 1st.....and I grow in ground, no pots......good job guys you doing good......
this method works!! i grow my vegetable garden using this method. everynow and then i make and apply compost tea to the plants and my garden just grows like crazy!!
Every growers should do the same! Not only for cannabis but with all the plants! We want a clean planet! Thanks to show the way to organic success! Is anyone heard about GMO cannabis!?? gmo are not allowed in my country and I hope it will stay like this for ever (but who really know what we buy from supermarket!?) Lots of good vibes from French cannabis growers who love your philosophy...and the way you see cannabis cultivation!
Depending on your local climate, Elbon Rye is an excellent addition to vetch and clovers. It will act as a nurse plant and protect your clover and vetch over winter. The strong root structure will keep the soil from compacting and increase the depth of active productive soil. Elbon Rye also produces large amounts of plant material also. It's been a part of my organic food production for over 25 years.
I just started growing and luckily was turned onto this, trying my own form of clackamas coot living soil and I use the same stuff, this is the very best video I've seen on here of this technique. Well put🤙 my dream is to one day be like this💛
I didn't realize really how awesome organics really is. I guess I just underrated it too. Maybe we all should go back to this still. It's the best and smartest way. Plus it's the best way to preserve the earth 🌎. I'm growing all organics next grow. We should all grow organics from now on
Gonna re watch this over and over till I know all this by heart 😋🤓🤓🤓. Much love to you guys! Awesome a vid! Wish I could taste the yield you guys make! I wanna join the team 😊!
soo dope ta see that we can always keep learning. new organic methods are the future of real medical cannabis. I watch every video Mendo puts out. heard you guys mention Minnesota Nice a couple times. he definitely knows his shit. what's ill is that he's willing to share his knowledge with all of us. great video guys! congrats on the new mega hoop house too!. can't wait to see the videos for those 25, 600 gallon smart pots!!
Another benefit of organic barley straw , besides it being a great mulch , is it has anti fungal properties . I ‘m in southern Oregon and I usually remove all the straw by early September because you really want the top of your soil as dry as possible when humidity and bud rot becomes an issue.
Great video guys. If I could offer 1 suggestion. Let your covercrop decompose on the soil surface for a week or so before you start to layer. The decomposition of the cover crop will temporarily pull nitrogen from the soil. Start layering once the covers turn brown.
Good to see Minnesota Nice again. I learned so much from the first video you all did. I actually made a cannabis seed sprout tea. The plants loved it. Good music plus good meds equals Mendo Dope! Peace.
Y'all Fellas should put a couple more vids out promoting Live Organics. It's nice to see my own generation wanting to promote the old ways. yes you have to work at it but your absolutely on point with kicking the knowledge in a way all viewers can comprehend. Keep em frosty Fellas,
soil pimp, i love that..... reusing that soil is the way......we have soil we have been reusing for 8yrs now...amend it and your good to go! cant wait to see the progress. much love from oregon!
@15:15 he mentions the key term "with right genetics " that is 100% correct. having the right genetics is most important. second is the nurturing. if you have the right genetics, there is no need for flower hardener to produce dense buds.
I do vegetable container gardening up north in zone 5A and make my own homemade potting mix. I start by using clay dug from my backyard I let it dry in the sun on my driveway then I crush it into a fine powder then sweep it up. I used to use the topsoil as part of my base ingredients instead of clay, but found that the clay has way more minerals than the native topsoil in my backyard. Basically I mix the clay, compost, worm castings, coconut coir, plus inoculants and amendments together by hand. I made six batches total for this years new grow containers. Per wheelbarrow (1 batch): 10 gallons coconut coir 10 gallons of crushed powdered clay 10 gallons of locally-sourced earth worm castings 10 gallons of my homemade super compost This is the bulk of my soil base mix. Then I add these inoculants and amendments to the base mix listed above. (1)Bat Guano (2)Bone meal (3) blood meal (4) rock dust (5) alfalfa meal (6) kelp meal (7) seaweed meal (8) chicken manure (9) green sand "mineral deposits from the ocean floor" (10) feather meal (11) mycorrhiza "a type of fungus" (12) microorganism mix "multiple different types of microorganism bacteria" (13) course garden perlite (14) red wiggler worms about one dozen per flower pot depending on the pot size If you had X-ray vision my soil would look like a tangled web of millions of white spider webs in the soil mixture. This is the holy grail of the home vegetable gardener, it's known as "soil hyphae" a type of mycorrhiza fungus network that has a beneficial symbiotic relationship with the vegetable plants. If you're able to achieve this hyphae network magical things happen like absolute ridiculous yields from one plant 👍. I basically make a living soil and let the soil feed the plants (happy soil microbes happy vegetable plants)😁. The only time i actually feed the plants is maybe for the first 5 weeks. I might occasionally mix some fish emulsion with water depending on the growth rate. Basically if you build your soil properly in the beginning, there's really no reason to feed your plants in my very short grow season here 🤷. Happy gardening all✌️
Love his passion and APPRECIATION for the biodiversity and complexity and rhythm if you will of the plant world quite a beautiful thing and I see why he loves it so much I do too 😀amazing

only a fool buys new dirt each season
How do you reamend it? Do you use the same ratios and stuff as when you amended it the first time?
It’s surprising how many people underestimate the power of the natural system of composting.

Best video about life, organics! Thank you!
Is it possible to have a breakdown of the ingredients to do a 500 gallon smart pot? I want to be ready for next season starting in 2022.
I want a tree and you guys have a tried and proven method that is successful.
It’s essentially why grass in your yard grows back faster then previously if you leave your fresh cut grass behind after a mow..
Also, In reference to what you said about "exudates", you were very correct, Its basically terpines and plant hormones moving into the soil and communicating and influencing the microbes like bacteria and fungi which in turn drastically influence the bug life and nutrient availability/composition in the soil. All life is very sentient in its own manner.
Its seems "out there" but you really explained it in few words.

@Blood Eagle 88 straw
Mycorrhizae
you use clover and vetch because they are both nitrogen fixers. + the green manure. good vid. I use the same system for my veggies.
Thank you for all the extremely useful growing techniques..
