Yep it's all youtube, I noticed the ads doubled recently for all videos. It's probably regional as well. So it differs from place to place how bad it is.

The internet is an enigma. Ppl will say HOW COULD U CANCEL THIS GAME. IT LOOKS GREAT. and these will be the same ppl saying this game is nothing but a terrible money grab and it’s trash, if the game was getting ready to launch.

We had a bunch of buffering and frame drops for some reason, so we just reuploaded the backup so there wouldn’t be any drops or stutters. :)
I think Jor forgot to mention that the 5hrs he played only had 2hrs worth of story. So, like with Yakuza games, the first 2hrs aint really much to talk about.
I feel it just really comes down to graphics mostly. Even Jor says the combat is better than Ghost of Tsushima. If it looked better, but it played the same, there would be a lot of hype for it. Which is just weird. Even Digital Foundry, the graphics and performance people, say that the most important part is the really good gameplay and that it runs better than most PS4 games that look better.
DD2 isn't radically changing the combat, and seems to run far worse on console, but because it looks great graphically... it's getting hype, even though DD1 didn't get much attention and still doesn't in the lead up to the sequel.
Rise of Ronin looks like a fun game but that just could be me.
Dragon's Dogma 2 will probably be the better game, but Rise of the Ronin is more up my alley. Game's don't have to be a 90 to be good. It just has to be fun to play. To me, this looks like Assassin's Creed in Feudal Japan which is welcomed. I really like that they let us create our character. Going to make my character look like Rikimaru, if I can, so I can pretend I'm playing a game in the Tenchu universe. My only concern is if the game will be too hard. Some AC games take a while to get going as well. I remember Origins and AC3 took a while, but eventually they hit the sweet spot.
This guy is definitely bias. Ghost of tushima looks good due to its art direction. It has not in certain areas.
I just find it funny that people said the same thing about ghosts of tushima years ago and when it came out they praised it. Its the same thing over and over. The funny part is that this guy is praising ghost but refuses to point out that ghost had bearly any npcs in the towns lol. People are funny.
I really don’t get it, what’s all the fuss about Rise of the Ronin being bad? I mean Elden Ring was the same shit, bad graphics, huge empty OPW, bad story or in the case of Elden Ring no story at all and the worst combat ever and I played 300 h plus of ER. I’m not saying ROTR is going to be a good game but is definitely no worse than the overhyped GOTY ER that’s for sure. Love to all out there ❤
How do you spend 300+ hours on a game you describr to be that bad???

Rotr seems to offer a lot less in comparison when it comes to exploration.
Game looks good but i have this feeling will be average. People are excited and i think they will be dissapointed. Games this days kinda suck.

Ngl y’all over hype elden ring imo I played it put it down was my first souls game came back maybe a week or 2 later with my cousin to kinda explain wtf is going on lol an it was bad but I’d get probably a week done an then have to look up something to figure something out or to be Abel to not die 24/7 ik it’s not supposed to be easy but after a while it’s not exactly hard anymore u move like water around enemies an can just one shot them it’s a good game but not as crazy as everyone says I don’t believe truly there are anything amazing games there all just mostly good why Bec over time games changes nothing can be the best also we change so that changes what we play how we interpret games the story’s within them it’s a good game but how u said once u get a little an it makes u wanting more I disagree
