Your favorite print on the wall is famous. It's called "The Tortoise Trainer" painted in 1906, originally exhibited in Paris. The original sold for $3.5 Million U.S. dollars in 2004. It depicts a man in the upper room of the Green Mosque, Bursua...where the man is attempting to train 5 tortoises, but they ignore him and prefer to pursue lettuce. His costuming suggests he is a Dervish, (which is a Very interesting practice.) Artist is Osmund Hamdi Bey. I agree with you : it is so peaceful looking. People at the time it was painted are said to have not understood it.

Oh no Dan those windows are very dangerous, not only for the baby but an adult could trip and the next thing you know your out the window. Here in Scotland there are health and safety rules and those windows would not be allowed except on the ground floor. Apart from that it is a nice apartment.
OMG the window is SO dangerous, SO dangerous Dan. We read terrible stories all the time of young children falling out of windows. It only takes a second.

Oh my goodness-the two open windows gave me chills. That there were flat surfaces, easy to climb up on, next to the windows, really freaked me out. Please keep your precious daughter far away from there. Chills!!!

I really didn’t expect to see a wood stove in an apartment. This is a first for me.
It’s no problem because I’m use to them. I have one in my mountain cabin and it looks exactly like that one.
It’s just a little concerning to know many young people are there partying, disco/bar hopping.
I know there will be a small percentage of idiots that will have genius ideas like an ‘indoor hot coal walk/run challenge.’
I know from experience because I was one of those selfish idiots with limitless, genius ideas many years ago 😅

Yikes! Those bifold windows so high up; if you just happen to fall into them you will go right out and down. All those windows are a high risk for Sati!

I did not know Turkey was so beautiful. I thought it was all desert and Mt. Ararat. What a stunning view.
The marble slab next to the wood stove in the cut out area is for stacking wood. The flat area next to it in the cut out space is for fireplace tools. Keeps it all off the floor, to not damage the flooring.
I am leaving tomorrow for a short vacation (holiday). I searched and searched to finally find a place in the area I wanted for just under $200.per night. And I won't have an ocean view.

Dang $1500 a month!😲 I guess I'm just jaded bc I own a home that was purchased by my grandparents 80 years I bought from them after my grandfather passed when I was only 24. I got so lucky, I paid $140 for 5 acres, 2 stories, 3 bedrooms upstairs, 2 bathrooms, & 2 big living rooms downstairs, & a huge kitchen, & dinning room. I paid only $20k to restore everything bc my father & I did it ourselves. I was also very lucky bc my grandmother fianced the home to me & my monthly payments were only $225 a month which by the time she passed away I only owed $10k but Ibalways paided more back. No way would I never be able to purchase a home & get fianced at such a young age with no credit, so I'm very grateful. I will never sell the house outside the family. Atleast 3 times a month, I get a knock at the door with offers to buy the house but nope not gonna happen. They just want it for the land & to tear it all down to build a complex! Also whats great is my paremts home that i lived un my whole life is 1 mile down the road, so my parents are right there if I never need anything. Whenever i hear a tractor or golf cart, I know its my dad visiting.😂

be careful with Sati baby around the windows. Looks like everyone thought the same thing about the windows. The apartment is nicest one you rented so far. Its Luxurious. Love the view of the ocean. Where I live that apt would be over 2000 Canadian dollars a month plus utilities.

Please keep windows closed when Sati is there & watch her. In our country those windows would not be able to be put in an apt or house. Very nice apt. Very cheap.cheapest motel or hotel is $85.00 a night it would one bedroom& full bathroom with fridge, microwave & coffee maker. Free breakfast. Bless you & your family.
Along the ocean in California you would be lucky to find an apartment to match what you have for less than $300 per night. You might be able to get it a little cheaper if you rented for long term, like a year.

That price is incredible. That room per night here in the US, at the Ocean and mountains on the other side, would be hundreds of dollars per night. I think $300-$500 per night in the US.
The scary thing is the windows with no screens. A child could so easily crawl up to those windows and fall out of the window. I don't even want to think about it. Those windows would be illegal in the US.

Beautiful. Your family deserves this great apartment. The windows are very easy to open up to the sea view with fresh air but do watch your little one because she will want to climb up to them and these windows must be locked.
That apartment looks great for adults, but those open windows provide no safety features for small children. Those windows would be much safer if a sturdy window screen was in place.
Eric Clapton’s child fell through a window with a screen in it to his death, I believe. Those glass windows should be locked.

So BEAUTIFUL! Back to Turkey? I remember how beautiful it was when you visited before. Yes, lovely view....watch your little girl around the windows! I could see a few houseplants here and there, you have beautiful light! I love the bedroom! This is a place of dreams, certainly! So happy to see you again; you need some extra food and rest! PEACE, I love it. Yes, it's a bit older and a bit worn but....BEAUTIFUL. You could move a few pieces of furniture and have a DANCE party if you wanted to. Wow. I like wood grain as opposed to painted walls myself. That little alcove in the kitchen looks like it might have been a breakfast bar at one point, just a few cabinets and stools. I'd watch you; you have a face/ manner that is friendly and approachable. And they're probably thinking how nice it would be to be in your apartment instead of a hotel for a short trip. Every window is a treat! Since the pandemic; we have moved from a single room in a very big city, to a two-bedroom home with a yard for half the cost. 👍👍 We pay less than $1,000 dollars per month; and that is very cheap here. I lived in my car for the better part of a year in the city....and I can't help but be joyful and grateful.
