- British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and his family lit ‘Diyas’ on Diwali, outside 10 Downing Street on November 12. The PM was accompanied by his wife Akshata Murty and daughters Krishna and Anoushka to mark the biggest festival in Hinduism. Diwali celebrates the triumph of light over darkness, or good over evil. On the auspicious occasion, lamps or candles are lit outside homes to protect against spiritual darkness

How do you think the people of the UK feel? By being so In Your Face with his religion it really emphasizes how foreign he is. He could have done this in private with his family but he made a public spectacle about it. This coming after a weekend where he failed to protect a sacred British tradition. You want people to think he is British. Well then he needs to start acting British. He needs to start upholding the traditions of the British people. Not saying he can't have his own family traditions but he needs to tone it down and start emphasizing British traditions. I hope you understand after given what happened this weekend the British people might be upset about this.

That's not what we saw last weekend. I can see how people could look at him and say "Foreigner". When British Traditions are under attack in their own country he continuously pushes his foreign traditions. England is a Christian country by history whether some may like it or not. First he needs to secure British traditions. Modi seems to be able to find a balance but Sunak has to be in your face with his actions which especially at this time in history when every British tradition is under attack is a bad image for the British people to see. He needs to tone it down a bit. And DO HIS JOB!
