Agree, Liu Yuning is a talented, handsome person with a beautiful voice. When I listen to "Don't Dream of Cold," I can feel the sadness in his voice maybe it hits differently as it brings back memories of his 4 brothers who died in the war, including himself.
I first came across Liu Yuning in A Journey to Love, which is a fantastic drama with camaraderie, humor and a strong female lead. Liu Yuning’s looks are unique and grows on you; he is handsome. But more important is he acts really well and has a beautiful evocative voice! (I don’t understand Mandarin Chinese but his songs make me feel emotions from sadness, loss, anguish, longing, etc). I didn’t even realize he was a singer until I came across fan comments that he sings the OST for many C-dramas. I hope he continues to play main actor in future historical costume dramas.

I just don't understand what the haters are on to, perhaps they are just blind and don't have taste... With you 100%. Haters say he looks ugly because they are looking for the double eye-lids (from cosmetic surgery) and the boyish facial features. I thing Liu Yuning is gorgeous, and he’s tall with nice stature and most importantly, he’s so talented - as a singer and actor.
Some people still hating him so sad. But I believe he would be successful and overcome this and his already doing great. Maybe one other thing I liked him is because he reminds me of Yixing. Yixing is my first favorite chinese artist because of EXo and when he was just starting so many mocked and hated him, but look at him now he is very successful not for everyone but for he is. So I believe Yunning will too, because he is such a great person.
