bruh, _she_ really is not right… they were planning to take Ginny’s custody, which made Georgia -who grew up with huge insecurities- run away in fear of losing her child… But since Georgia thinks herself as the “monster” at the moment and since she has the tendancy to blame herself for everything -probably because of her traumas- ; she fails to see that. I really wanted that someone reminded her of this..:(
Exactly!!
@@mickaylacashman2868 :(
My thoughts exactly
@@sammah-lammah527 I hope she goes to therapy in season 3.. she thinks so low of herself :(
I 100% agree! Also Zion didn’t stand up for Georgia again! He always just goes along with what his parents are saying. He was there, he knows it didn’t go down like that. And we all know once those parents got custody Georgia would have very limited visitations. She shouldn’t have ran but with the only 3 ppl she has in her life saying they’re going to taker custody of her baby and with her trauma it also makes sense.
In this scene, you can tell Georgia is slowly realizing how her past is coming back to haunt her in the form of affecting her children.
I love that Georgia is able to openly be vulnerable in front of Zion, and speak to him about anything. They really are best friends. They still definitely love one another too. I know they won’t get together, but they definitely seem like soulmates. As they say: right person, wrong time.
It isn't as easy as "they wanted to help her"! They wanted her to give them guardianship over Ginny! Not exactly the same thing! I don't blame Georgia!!
It was to allow them to have a life. It was to allow them to make something of themselves.
It would have been WAYYYY better than what Georgia could offer or put her through
@payneicecold3000 it wasn't there child and these people wouldn't be good parents anyways look how controlling they are
@@alextroy9202yay ginny would have been having more problems then now with controlling parents like that
@ShannonAdams-d1s I honestly don't think so. I feel they're just really strict and would have been able to discipline and care for ginny better. Mind you, zion's parents were mature and financially secure, both of which Georgia at the time wasn't. So yeah Ginny would have been definitely been better raised by her grandparents.
That is so rude how Zion’s mother spoke to Georgia like that in front of Ginny. What an uptight family, Not everyone needs to go to college to be successful.
But was she wrong, because Georgia even said she was right.
@@payneicecold3000 true but it was unnecessary for her to take it out on georgia infront of not only her daughter but even paul and his family. That too 15 years later. If she wanted to talk about this she should've done it personally w her
@@wheelersrheawell she ran away with the child and they didn’t see her for years. Even Zion didn’t see her for almost a year. Of course she would be mad
@@ryanmacharika3946 and she has every right to be mad. I don't blame her for being bitter towards georgia but she didn't have to act like that towards her in front of her whole family including Paul's
@@payneicecold3000Georgia blames herself got alot likely do to traumas
Some of Y'all saying "The grandmother was right", First of all, She didn't want to just simply "Help" Georgia like how Parent in laws Help their stepchild, She was gonna take advantage of Georgia being a teen mother by taking her baby and getting custody. Helping was what she was doing at the start when She was welcoming Georgia to provide her and Ginny with Care, Not taking the baby away as their own.
In what episode did the Grandma say she wasn't trying to help? You contradict yourself with Georgia even admitting she was right. 😆
@@payneicecold3000taking a child away from their mom is never helpful.
@@MissGirl-m2o Georgia admitted Zions mom was right lol
Bro the “il take it from here” got my dieing 😂😂😂😂
It was the “or my GED for me” 😂
I wouldn't say I like that Georgia blamed herself for this. Ginny's grandparents were about to steal her away from her mother. As a mother, she had the right to be with her daughter regardless of the situation. But I loved that ginny got up from the dinner table to comfort her mom. That was a really rare moment.
How was the Grandparents trying to steal Ginny? explain it to me, because in season 1 they explain in detail why they wanted GUARDIANSHIP!
Guardianship vs. custody is semantics really. It gives them power and decision making abilities. Georgia grew up in a home where she was molested and abused, and her mother didn’t protect her. So in Georgia’s eyes the only way she could guarantee her daughter was safe is if she cared for her, under her own roof and had control over her daughter’s situation.
@amandamarshall1485 But she didn't keep Ginny safe 😆 😂 🤣 Again Georgia admits she was wrong.
The grandma was trynna take Ginny away from her MOTHER and if Georgia did do that and wanted her daughter back they aren’t giving Ginny back because all they want to do is like control Georgia with money I mean Ginny wouldn’t have a good life because the grandma seems pretty controlling to me
How would you know? Its clear the grandparents wanted what was best for Ginny AND Georgia. Georgia was still young, the grandmother saw that and thought she could help by stepping up as a guardian so Georgia could get her life together. It wasn’t about control. It was about taking responsibility. Georgia put Ginny through a lot of unnecessary crap, just for the sake of keeping her title as a mother..
@@ashantitjt2547oh God forbid a mother doesn’t want to give up HER child.
@@MissGirl-m2o She didn’t have to give up her child. They could’ve worked something out, but Georgia made the selfish decision to run away with baby Ginny. She raised Ginny around abusive men. She kept Ginny around the same kind of men SHE ran away from. She forced Ginny to suffer in poverty when Ginny had another option. She had grandparents that were willing to PROVIDE for her, but Georgia chose to struggle in poverty. Screw what would’ve made Ginny happy, screw having a stable upbringing. Screw being raised by your biological father and grandparents. It’s better if you’re raised around abusive men that have NO relation to you, right? That makes sense to you? Georgia only ever did what SHE wanted, she doesn’t take anyone else’s feelings into consideration.
@@MissGirl-m2o The only controlling one in this situation was Georgia. It was HER way or nothing.
@@MissGirl-m2o And let’s be honest, the REAL reason Georgia left is because she felt she was making Zion unhappy and she didn’t want him to hate her. So Ginny grew up without her biological father, in poverty, around abusive men, hopping from home to home…. for *that.* God forbid a mother puts her feelings aside for her CHILD’s sake.
Georgia is an amazing mother 🥰🥰her struggles are proof you can get through anything
Zions parents was trying to make it easier on her
Georgia did a great job getting her children where they were now and she was worried they would take them away from her
OH really getting beat up by Gil while Ginny is there is a great job? Then marrying a predator who was trying to sexually assault Ginny, that was a good job too huh?
@@payneicecold3000FIRST OF ALL she killed the dude that was touching Ginny and it’s not her fault that she got beaten by gil
Why didn’t Ginny defend her. I love my grandma, but she is often a bitch to my mom. I yell at her idc. Then we are all yelling lmao. But it’s my mom
Same mad or not that’s my mama and this our house pleasee
Right! Or Zion, he was there and knows what happened. Or Paul her fiancé! Ugh this scene made me mad!!
Because the Granma is right
@@payneicecold3000 yeah but you don’t say it then and there.
@anja6983 Doesn't matter Goregia was selfish and chose herself over what was best for Ginny.
Im sorry but Zion’s mom is toxic as hell.
@@th6199 How for wanting two dumbs kids to make something of themselves?
I read a comment saying he is happy Zion is not with Georgia anymore cause he should had defended her. But i want you to know that in Africa it would kind of very sinful to do that. They cannot really answer to an elder, but especially to their parents, his mother! This is holy. That does not mean her ex does not support her at all. I also wanna add that people blaming Ginny character are to blame : she and her father were adorable. 😅😂 But they felt weak towards Georgia pain. I knew Ginny could not be rude when i Saw her baby dancing with Georgia 😅😂😭😭💔. I Hope she will be happier❤
Georgia didn't deserve that
@@Scream_edits_capcut1 Yes she did
I really want to see Georgia's story but Ginny annoys me soo much i can only stand to watcha couple of episodes at a time.

Wow
she dosent speak for georgia..
Not in Paul, Not even in ginny, georgia got the comfort she needed ... like she got from Zion
