Pepe Aguilar comes from a dynasty of Mexican music. His parents, Antonio Aguilar and Flor Sylvestre were famous singers and his children are continuing the tradition as singers. And at 6'5" he can literally be called a giant in the industry!

There are so many talented singers/composers: Pepe and his entire family, Nodal, Yuridia, Alejandro Fernandez…the list goes on and on. It’s so refreshing to hear something other than reguetón featured on a national show.

The Aguilar dynasty is pure talent
The live show had me crying several times. I was watching my heritage unfold before my eyes. Mom is from Mexico, is 93 now, and I’m holding on to my heritage with all my might. Currently learning español using Pepe’s music on hikes, in the car, at home to supplement my language course.
For those that don't know, Pepe is a fukn LEGEND. He not only sings Mariachi or Regional Mexican, the man can sing any style. His unplugged album from a few years back was a tribute to some of the most popular pop and rock songs in Latin America. In fact, growing up he listened to bands like Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin. Talented man this Pepe Aguilar.
The first time I saw the Father of Pepe live was at a rodeo arena back then. It was just amazing it changed me totally as a musician. It was a show stopper, with a magical touch to me as a kid it was like Disney rodeo live ✌️

I go way back with Pepe Aguilar and his father Antonio Aguilar and Family . His father and family came out and did a rodeo show in Los Angeles and to this day I feel he opened up the doors for other Hispanic singers. And my father loved his music.

As an Artist he is great. But its nice to see Hispanic/Mexican in the English speaking Market. His daughter went to music coaches to help her sing as close as she could to her Grandmother. His son has almost an identical tone to him.

I went from Vancouver, Wa to Sacramento, Ca for his Show “Jaripeo hasta los Huesos” and it was amazing his Kids Leonardo and Angela sing beautiful , everybody sing riding beautiful horses , I enjoyed the show so much and I-will go to his shows in 2025 for sure .
