My review of the Atomstack F3 "T" nuts too small for slots can pop out and do when tightening. Long screws and wingnuts hit my Creality Laser arm interfering with it. Every other "Toothed" arm is lower than the previous one, material does not even touch them, so what use are they? Teeth are slightly rounded so it makes the surface quite slippery for the material. Last the surface is not magnetic.
I just assembled my F3, and even before even using I was thinking, how do I get rid of the wing nuts, they must get in the way. I'd be happy to try our your LB file. I'm also annoyed as you said, not magnetic, meaning I can't embed rare magnets.
@BCreviews Like you solution. I joined several Atomstack groups on FB, but was not able to find the file you shared. In which group(s) should I look for it? Thx for sharing.
This works really well the horizontal fixing material to stop it sliding left and right, will need to sort something up and down as it is limited by the spacing between the fixed slates….. I am sure someone good with design will make a adjustable stopper soon.
Hi Benson. I've purchased one of these cutting beds with my new Atomstack X20 Pro, and I've bumped the laser module into the tall screws a couple of times already, producing a terrible noise. I hope I haven't stripped any of the drive belt teeth. I don't think I have. So I've removed the screws and hold-down arms. This option of yours looks great to me. I'd love a copy of the file that is compatible with the Laser GRBL format. Thanks for posting this video. Cheers.
Nice to see you here as well as on Facebook. I only have lightburn file lol , it is on the file sections of Facebook group. Lightburn is free for 30 days, just make sure you start the trial when you are ready to put some time into it.
facebook.com/groups/588565609448121 worth getting facebook just for the advise and free files from not just me but others atomstack users who improved on my design
Did you put in shorter screws? I am trying to find the screws that will work and another type nut to hold them but live in small town and only an Ace hardware here. DO you have a link to the bolts and nut replacements?
I gave up using the rail at he end because shorter screws means less height for the clamps. Even if using clamps for 3mm materials the wing nuts will still foul the laser head. I only use the wooden pegs now
Posted on Facebook group and there is another member updated with better improved version. Group should be atomstack X10/ X20/ x30 or something like that 👍
The bed is just too slippery.

Wood glue may be a better option, it is quite good at holding wood together.
