For reference to what Paul Washer is referring to,
    Acts 6:1-4
Now in these days when the disciples were increasing in number, a complaint by the Hellenists arose against the Hebrews because their widows were being neglected in the daily distribution.
2 And the twelve summoned the full number of the disciples and said, “It is not right that we should give up preaching the word of God to serve tables.
3 Therefore, brothers, pick out from among you seven men of good repute, full of the Spirit and of wisdom, whom we will appoint to this duty.
4 But we will devote ourselves to prayer and to the ministry of the word.”

My mother was a very very young widow and I saw the help she desperately needed. By the time we were very little children she had us taking on the work of grown men. It was really tough growing up and the callous indifference of men all around us during that time has stayed with me throughout my life.

....perhaps a prejudiced theological problem rooted in a preference for Paul ???
" PURE and undefiled RELIGION before the God and Father is this: to VISIT ORPHANS AND WIDOWS IN THEIR TRIBULATION; and to keep oneself unstained from the world."
      {📖 ✨𝕵𝖆𝖒𝖊𝖘 𝟏:𝟐𝟕}
Ever hear or repeat, that evangelical mind virus, "Christianity is NOT A RELIGION"?...
Too much emphasis on St. Paul ...and too little on St. James (and our Lord Jesus)...and too much emphasis on "Grace and Faith"(¿ALONE?)...and not enough on "Faith without Works is dead"- or as you put it the "callous indifference of Men" * {see 📖 ✨𝕵𝖆𝖒𝖊𝖘 𝟐:𝟏-𝟗} ...
      * "Men Saved by Grace Alone thru Faith Alone...not a 'Religion' "...

I pray it will be better. Yet, being a good Christian is not possible in our old nature.
Jesus said, You must be born again. John 3:3-8. "Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
That which is born of flesh is flesh, and that which is born of Spirit is spirit." Verses 3:5-6.
Born again is regeneration. Noah Webster 1828 Dictionary online.
'Regeneration means; Reproduction, the act of producing anew. In theology, New birth by the grace of God, that change by which the will and natural enmity of man to God and his law are subdued, and a principle of supreme
love to God and his law, or holy affections, are implanted in the heart.' Implanted.
Humbling isn't it. We cannot do that. So who does God look to? the humble and contrite ones. Psalm 34:18 and Isaiah 57:15.
Ask God to send the Holy Spirit to you, Luke 11:13. He will bring your sins to mind. As he does ask Jesus to forgive you. This will be painful, PRIDE HATES IT.
When you see your desperate need (Jeremish 17:9) for a Saviour, call out to Jesus to save you. He came to save sinners.
Then do as the risen Jesus commanded, be baptized. Matthew 28:18-20, in the water of repentance Mark 1:1-5, Matthew 3:6. Calling on the name of the Lord, Romans 10:9-13. How? As Peter preached Acts 2:21, 38 and as Paul did, Acts 22:16, Acts 19:1-5.
      Think on Mark 16:16, 2 Peter 3:9, Romans 6:3-11, 1 Corinthians 12:13 and Colossians 2:6-15.
When He has regenerated you, you will desire Him. Read His inspired word, the Authorized Version, the King James Bible. The Spirit of truth will lead you into all truth. His word strengthens, washes (as does His powerful blood). His word reads you Hebrews 4:12. Daily bible reading and prayer is essential in building on the foundation which is Christ Jesus.
PS. The other apostles were already baptized, they baptized others. John 4:1-2.
Read His preserved word, the Authorized Version later called the King James Bible.

The most dangerous moment in church history is when elders were disregarded and deacon boards began making spiritual decisions for the congregations to approve. Spiritually immature people selecting the next pastor of a church is supremely more dangerous to the church.

    • @lol24891941

Most dangerous is when we elevated the gift of pastor into a title and position and highlight one spiritual office over all 5 of them being used by every believer in the fellowship. When we elevate a single person or group, as in position/title, we disrupt koinonia.

My mother was widowed when I was 13. My father and mother both separated when I was 8. My father was never there or present for me in my life and now I don't hold any grudge against him but I still sometimes wonder what it'd be like to have a good earthly father you know. Also, I'm the only son of my mother. I know that my heavenly Father God in Heaven is always with me, without him, I don't think I would even be alive right now. Life is not that easy but with Jesus, I am surviving. I do want to ask one specific question to you or anyone who sees my comment, can I change my surname from my father's to my mother's? It's a long process but the earlier the better. I feel the present surname that I have does not relate to me at all, of course partly because my earthly father wasn't present but I guess one of the reasons I want to change my surname is because I want to honour my mother's surname and carry on my mother's lineage. I don't even like to associate myself with my father's surname because it just feels so unrelated to me. But I have prayed for this as well and I hope God answers me. Let me know what's your suggestion, I haven't spoken to my mother about this because I feel it's not the right time now I guess and I'm still a teenager so yeah

I'll never forget how he used scripture to spew hatred and vitriol on us from his self righteous self importance.. to this day I wouldn't piss on a preacher if they were on fire, they are the devils kin all of them fleecing the flock
Only recently I approached a church and asked a pastor if he had a moment. He said I would if you were my flock but given you arent.. Jesus told Peter "Feed my Sheep" .. I live in America, and I know several men of God that would take time for you regardless of whether you attend or not.
God loves you and you can go straight to him in prayer. He will guide you. Trust in him, not men. Be that role model that you needed as a child, but didn't have. Pray and pave the way.
Unfortunately there are many evil men/ women who who manipulate using The Bible, and they acquire trusted positions because they know people would not question their works because they claim to be of God. You know a person's heart by their actions.
Satan goes around seeking who he can devour. He has his minions who leaD and hide in churches as well.

And he has not been afraid and I praise the lord and give thanks to
Him for using men like him to build actual men of God the lord has used him and u need a lot

See we can't put down the way things are taught as long as the teachings stay within the truth of Jesus Christ.
