The temple itself is a simple yet spiritually significant structure made of wood and stone. The main deity, Goddess Yamuna, is represented as a black marble idol. The hot springs of Surya Kund and Gauri Kund, located near the temple, are also visited by pilgrims, and it is believed that taking a dip in these hot springs can cleanse one's sins.
