To clear some of the confusion in the comments: no, it's not a "Once per battle" thing. Her passive is a counter that resets each time the conditions are met. So she resists/nulls something two times, an additional Turn Icon is added on your turn. When that happens, the aforementioned counter resets to zero, meaning another two resists/nulls will add another Turn Icon. Putting "Fierce Roar" on Nuwa and making her a tank of sorts made this discovery possible.
I immediately understood how her Innate worked and went "Atlus ARE YOU SURE YOU DON'T WANT TO SET A ONCE PER EITHER BATTLE TURN ON THAT?" and NO no they did not which I am forever grateful for cause the OG Poster Lady for SMT5 NEEDS to have something to her name and by god does she.
In the most respectful way I can put this, I find it pretty hilarious that other people evidently never knew this. I guess everyone else was too busy resetting the second that their superboss one-turn strategies went the slightest bit awry to notice...for the past six months.
IDK why I can only see the comment in UA-cam studio but Dawn of Demise: “While in the active party, grants pierce effect and raises critical rate for all allies” That while the crit rate part is true, it only grants Pierce to basic attacks. It’s supposed to be a reference to Lucifer’s high crit basic in Nocturne. However the way it’s phrased… we I don’t think I have to explain why that’s just wrong 😂
Oh yeah, Lucy's innate is a prime example of what I'm getting at. Using vague languange and not explaining in detail what you meant. Hell I'm still not sure if the crit rat increase is tied to the basic attack or just in general.
OH! I get it: The requirements need not be met on the same turn, as the trait actually keeps track of Resists/Nulls throughout the battle, and not on a turn-by-turn basis.
Potentially a lot. Perhaps not at all. I’ve never been one for Quick Kill Strategies (only one on the channel I did was to get footage for another project).
Vengeance does suffer a tad from the skill descriptions being just a tad non-specific, but that’s genuinely a neat bit of interaction. I should do a new game plus play through using her more often.
I already knew that, just intuition. The skill I can't explain myself is Titania's. Lucy took off my enduring soul and carved goat, then I thought it would make sense to summon Titania before taking the morning star but appears it didn't work.
I have seen someone use this before but regardless it can be a useful strat if you stack it with other Press Turn abusing Innates like Mastema, Baal or Yoshitsune. *God Forbid if you get Dagda and Danu 😂*

I mean...that's literally what the skill says. It doesnt state any condition for nuwa must be hit on the same turn, why people assume there is a condition?
@@jaffinator2166I don't see the similarity with Mastema or Baal skills. Their are get hit/debuff once, skill activates. Nuwa's is get hit twice, skill activates. If Mastema skill was something like "get hit 2 times to active" and then requires players to get hit 2 times on the same turn to activate, then I can understand the confusion as to why Nuwa skill doesn't work the same way. But that's not the case, there is no skill that needs 2 conditions fullfilled on the same turn to active for people to make assumsion that nuwa skill would work in that way
@@stonehooman6468 iirc from a vid I watched explaining how to infinite turn demi fiend, the max icons the player can have is 8. That's still an insane number of actions before factoring in danus mag skill......

Always a pleasure! 🫡

Worst part is
Rereading the skill description
It was stating us in the face the whole time. 😭
Surely I was not the only person to use a single Dark Shard on two consecutive turns in that battle
Well good news, you can be the first person to document it in your current challenge run (which BTW great job so far, looking forward to Agrat)
Not sure that intentionally using suboptimal attacks and giving those two free press turns is the best way to approach that fight
Its not that good of a skill anyway
TBF a lot of the innates feel like they don't convey what they suppose to do and/or don't have all the details.
@@Drapion0Lover and Lucifer’s is just FLAT OUT mistranslated 😭
