@FirestormSurtr Is other one is to get 35 platinium medals before the fight at the observatory (in Emma's scenario, I don't know which mission in Alisa's scenario). If you have the medals, one of the opponent will be repalced by the best wanzer of the game and will have the heavy P. Gun, all you have to do to get his wanzer and his weapon is the eject the pilot (for example with EjectPunch) and kill him (surprinsingly the pilot is immune to Pilot DMG skills but not to ejection).
@zarbon2 Average damage of the parts of your wanzers at the end of the fight. You can use repair items to avoid a penalty. Or shields to lessen the damage you take. Or both.
@JujuDredd Yeah "Eject Punch" is cool. I like it too. I just finished the Alisa storyline, and the last battle with Lukav was over in a little over 5 minutes. I equipped everyone with rifles, missiles, and a shotgun or mg. I just stayed as far out of range attacking with missiles first, then ganged up on anyone who got too close. I actually killed Lukav before some the other IN's with him. Have you gotten all the battle skills yet? Which are your favorites?
@FirestormSurtr You should search for more details on the web. (The real web I mean). The inferno dialer is in the web (the in-game one :) Anyway, you can't use the two methods, if you get the weapon and wanzer with the medals, you can't get it at the inferno dialer (but the wanzer has a better upgrade level with the medals method, so this save some money).
Use a COMG10 computer if you have. The skills you can learn depend on the parts of your wanzer. Put Getty Arms to your Wanzer and fight with at least two others teamates with long range weapons. You will eventually learn Firing Squad. You can fight in simulator to learn skills.
@zarbon2 Arm of the Getty Wanzer. Not so hard to learn and excute for a three slots skill, just play with at least three wanzers with range weapons, preferrably mini-guns and snipers.
@modsleix6 Of course I know Body smash. But it's a five slot skill, and chances to trigger it are too small, evan with a high activation computer. I prefer pilot eject which is a 1 slot skill and can be set six times on the same pilot.
To acquire a skill, the wanzer must have the part relative to that skill. To acquire "Firing squad" you must have a Getty Arm part in your wanzer. Of course, you also need to attack with a range weapon and have two allies with a range weapon and the ennemy you attack within their range. This skill cost three computer slots, but it is no very hard to get once you fulfill the prerequisites.
i have this game on my epsxe 1.70 and man u gotta see my pilots all of them have class S on any weapons..hehe i did some bugging on the battle skills but its worth it 1 of my pilots have 2 BRACEII 2ARM SMASH 1LEG SMASH 1BODY SMASH the skill on dis game maybe the brace II coz it allows ur opponent to attack 1st but damage cut to 80% =D
Game now looks crappy with many others but story line and music were just fantastic for it. Love this game :) Good times. Ohh and Kexi in Alisa story was a little weaker i guess
Another easy way to win pretty much ANY fight (Boss or not) - Have all your pilots equip the "COMG10" computer, equip 2 pilots with one Hoshun MK112 arm each, go to simulator and have pilots learn "Body Smash" skill, as soon as they learn it, switch pilots until they all learn it. After that switch to "COMC754" computer (all pilots). Now even with regular weapons other than P-GUN, if "Body Smash" activates, its 1 hit , 1 kill no matter how much HP enemy wanzers have. "FRONT MISSION 3 RULES...."
Another cheesy tactic is having burst characters use lots of Pilot DMGI. If Ryogo, Yun, or Li use burst and chain it 3 times then it means instant kill (7x3 damage on pilot = dead pilot).
I just think Machine Guns don't have very good late game, I got rid of Ryogo's and gave him a Shotgun and a Rifle like Liu. I gave Alisa a Wagtail and a Machine Gun with a melee weapon just because I could. Even though she was pretty squishy, she had a lot of mixed damage that I could easily take advantage of. That being said, I never realised how many skills I missed out on! Good job!
+Justin .Cheng In Emma's Scenario you have the Pilot DMGI skill. This skill is awesome with Piercing damage, it does 7 DMG to pilot while it does only 5 and 4 with Fire weapons and Impact weapons (not sure wich one does 4 and 5 damage to the pilot). Machine guns have shorter range than riffles, but it suffice one bullet touch to damage the enemy pilot, so machine guns are probably the best weapon to use Pilot DMG skills. Another interest of Machine guns is it makes easier to trigger firing squad than with a shotgun. But I admit shotguns are better for their overall damage, and their non random damage distribution.
+JujuDredd I never got Eject Punch. I had to make do with Tackle, Zoom, ROFUP, Blackout and Panic Shot the entire scenario. How did you manage to get all of the different assortment of skills? I feel like replaying the entire game just so I get to use overpowered skills :3
+Justin .Cheng The skills you can learn depends on your wanzer parts. And even once a character learned the skill once, he need to wear the part to learn the skill again (of course for skills that take less than 4 slots). Once you learned a skill once with any character, you will see the skill name in the description of the part, but you need to press a button to see it, maybe it's triangle (long time not played again this game). If you didn't learn the part's skill yet you will see "??????" instead. There are list skills available on each part in the internet try gamefaqs.com for instance.
I love those Firing Squad attacks. So cool.
+Juan Reynoso
Firing Squad is awesome, easy to learn and to trigger for a 3-slots skills, effective even without the heavy P-GUN. It rocks!
@FirestormSurtr

Enemy pilot got ejected. It's time for an all-out attack!!

That sounds... painful to do.
Guess I'll try the Inferno Dialer instead...

@GrilleSechH
I play with ePSXe 1.6.0 and used Fraps to record my game.

Lukav's mech was pretty friggin' cool!

И монтаж хороший и бой грамотный. Странно только уровень оружия у некоторых не высокий: В, С, D
I want to ask you something, what the wanzer part equiped by kazuki, ryogo, yun, and dennis? Please answer

@JujuDredd
What's the other one?
