We start the tour from Har Ki Pauri and follow the narrow lanes to try ALL the famous street food joints like MohanJi Puri Vale, Jain Chat Bhandar, Mathura Valo ki Prachin dukaan, Billu Bhai ke Parathe, Brijvasi Mithai, Mathura valo ki mithai, Bhagwati ke chole, and some road side Dhaba food.

I was being lazy on adding map on my next video that is about hiking from Sari village to deoril lake and then from there all the way to Baniyakund and finally to Tungnath Mahadev and Dharmshila. However, after your comment I will work on the map part. I know it's always easier to look at things and plan. :)

Nice video sharing prachin mathurawale experience... simply amazing a must have the kachori was best, halwa I would say average ..but the best was the mithai the PEDA + a new discovery Malai samosa👍👍 sort of.a samosa with filling of dry fruits and mewa ..6 pieces came to 150 bucks but really worth it ...stays without refrigeration for one day 👍

By any means these are the most famous and well known eating places in Haridwar. They represent local taste of Haridwar. If you are looking at the places to visit in Haridwar then you must visit - Har Ki Paudi (Amrit Ghat), Mansa Devi, Chandi Devi, Maya Devi Temple (one of the shakti peeth), and also try tp attend evening Ganga Ji aarti at Har Ki Paudi. Make sure to go early and reserve a spot as the place could get very crowded.

Very sustainable way of serving food ,they all are using patal for serving food
POONAM SHARMA Thats true! Most of the street food in Haridwar is being served on the pattal made of Malu leaves. Good for the nature and good for our bodies.
Mam...puri chole or chole bhature which you prefer for morning breakfast ??..for winter ..
For a little healthier version - Poori Chole. Poori is made out of whole wheat and is better than Maida (Bhature) that is simple carb. But both are friend so go figure :). Personally I love fluffy fluffy Bhaturas with Chole. If I don't think health wise then I can have Puri-Chole / Subji 6 days a week and Chole Bhature once a week.
Winters are good for Poori Choley, so go for it.

I have visited 6 times and have Mohanji ki Puri wale ki dukaan . I do not like it as it is very costly and it relates to health. If you ever visit Calcutta you will get a numerous shops of Puri and Sweets shops at a very reasonable price. And very helpful to help.
Calcutta is definitely on the list. Soon we will be devouring the amazing food that Calcutta has to offer :-).
