There’s no deny input as such. Throwing a straight is the most reliable strike to stop it.
Or you have to go under it (other sway directions are less reliable).

When you give up the back it's a dangerous game in game and irl and yeah it's a glitch if ya hit it twice you can double hop the backpack or pull down backwards but still the backs a bad spot to give up.
