Is it weird that im 13 rn and wasn't even alive or at least old enough when scene and emo culture was at its peak and i wish that 2020 was still the same as then bc i wanna exprience the trend too? :(
I wasnt scene since i was kinda self concious back in the day but i had scene friends + i was a huge weeb that used to go to cons dressed as L from death note (prob the only time i was ever able to do an alt look was when i was at cons XD ) I do remember people teasing scene kids back then too for the way they dressed and how they typed on the internet (the whole rawr stuff and all like how people do now if you use emotes or old school slang) but they carried themselves with confidence and just did what they liked like how the newer ones nowadays do too. Honestly the only thing thats different about scene kids back then compared to now is that its 2023 instead of 2009, i think the energy is the same pretty much and if you go on the right websites (cough cough tumblr if you really want that tight knit community) the scene is still alive and well.

@@parker5043 hey kid you have all the time in the world to do what you want. you’re 10. i’d say go for it!
@@parker5043 Go for it, when you grow up you'll only remember the good times, but you'll certainly regret not doing something you really wanted to.
I HEARD PRETTY RAVE GIRL IN THE BG AT THE START OF THE VIDEO
Glad I’m not the only one who still obsesses for this shit!! 💕
Scene kid fashion is making a resurgence?? Never thought I’d see this happen in my lifetime for a second time. :,) Carry on, kids. Be good to each other. :)

Is it weird that im 13 rn and wasn't even alive or at least old enough when scene and emo culture was at its peak and i wish that 2020 was still the same as then bc i wanna exprience the trend too? :(
I'm 14, and I feel the same way.

The RAWRING 20s are still happening >:)
Nooo
I really like botdf too but I just can't support Dahvie Vanity :/
Idk why but just seeing emo and scene people melts my heart and make so happy
“ gotta be ready for 2020”
I don’t think anyone was ready for 2020
I wasnt scene since i was kinda self concious back in the day but i had scene friends + i was a huge weeb that used to go to cons dressed as L from death note (prob the only time i was ever able to do an alt look was when i was at cons XD ) I do remember people teasing scene kids back then too for the way they dressed and how they typed on the internet (the whole rawr stuff and all like how people do now if you use emotes or old school slang) but they carried themselves with confidence and just did what they liked like how the newer ones nowadays do too. Honestly the only thing thats different about scene kids back then compared to now is that its 2023 instead of 2009, i think the energy is the same pretty much and if you go on the right websites (cough cough tumblr if you really want that tight knit community) the scene is still alive and well.
I tried to do my hair scene and i was actually happy with it and my dad told me it looked stupid aghhh 😭😭
awwwh don't listen to him!!
thank you for the tips! i’m a beginner scene kid and i’m really trying to become more scene! rawr
I love scene kids! We need that style in our life style! Lol I love the fun, weird, edgy, outgoing-ness of it all!
I wanna dress scene but I’m scared of being bullied 😭😭😭😭
I really want to start dressing like a scene kid, but I can't because I don't have anything to wear!!!!!! 😭😭
You can find things at hot topic, thrift stores, and anything online :)))
Watching this in 2022 feels weird when you mentioned Jeffre Star 💀
as an Ex Scene
please don't jump right into it
it takes time
Wow I was 19, 10 years ago. I'm an old a$$ scene kid
2020 has me needing a crazy style change, and this is it.
i'm really in love with the scene style but i'm kinda sad i wasn't born earlier so i could experience the style but i am trying to dress "scene" so thanks for this video :) (i was born in 2007) :(
I was born in 2007 too and im a scene kid :D
@@Stinkyshark2001 cool ;)
Not an older or retired scene kid but I've had people be really mean to me for how I dress and all I have to say is DRESS HOW YOU WANT!!!! Other ppl are just insecure that your style ABSOLUTELY ROCKS
I WOULD DIE FOR MY SCENE SIBLINGS! UgH Im so heated over this now
Since MCR came back IM SO READY to revert back to my full form
can scene kids like actually come back tho plz?
I'm trying to get the hair and dress like them,I have already listened to the music and love the music :D
I was scene in 2006-2009 have some great memories. Thats when the scene really was at its peak. Late twenties now and definitely dont have the same style as then but it would be cool to witness a revival by younger generation.
im going to be 15 soon, and ive missed.........a few years
but i'm still gonna try getting into this !! i've always wanted to but i was too young
unfortunately i've missed the golden years of it, so no warped tour or many other scenes,,, but i'm still going for it !! :]
Turning 14 in August here, and same, except I'm emo.
