- I wanted to do a completely different color, so I decided to change my hair from Green to Purple! I used the L'oreal Effasol Color Remover and it took out all the green in 1 STEP! It works so much better than the Vitamin C or Baking Soda treatment, in my opinion.
I used the IroIro Pastel Lavender for the purple and I love the color!

As someone with a head of iroiro green who really wants to go purple..... so glad i stumbled across you. Not a pro, but I've already used that exact color remover a few times to plenty of success.

Effasol Color Remover is basically a lightener...... you can use lightener and a no lift developer and it’s exactly the same thing.
Hey Amber!! Yea I completely agree!! I have always said that its pretty much a bleach/lightener...but Effasol has worked a lot better for me than bleach/lightener. It would actually remove all the color for me and not harm my hair as much especially when my hair was super short! I'm still learning to deal with long hair. lol

Oh my God thank you I had a mauve color that faded into green for some reason and I did the vitamin c 3 times and it ended up a silver lime green shade like the darkest part of your hair after the color remover and the purple covered it all def going to use the lavender iro iron to cover up this green 💜
Now see I did this EXACT thing. Struggled much more than you did. Now I want my green back and my purple ain't coming out 🤣

Yea I know it’s bleach…. It’s just works a lot better for me than straight up bleach. Lightens better and doesn’t harm my hair as much 😁
