St.Anton, wieder mal ein Schmankerl der Sonderklasse mit Wetterglück. Passendes Intro ab 0:04, das einlullt und gleichzeitig Vorfreude macht auf die Monster. Beeindruckend die Zielpassage mit einem Flaggenchef, der genau weiss warum er nicht sich, sondern ausschliesslich die Flagge zeigt. Unglaublich wie die Monster da reinräubern. Danke an unsere Nachbarn HCF!

"Green Hell" was the name originally given to the Nurburgring by Jackie Stewart who led the F1 boycott of the F1 race there as part of a campaign by the F1 Drivers Association to make circuit safer. Stewart was concerned that not only was it a very dangerous track to race on but that there was also insufficient recovery equipment and marshals. The Nurburgring was significantly remodeled after this eliminating many of the jumps, smoothing out the corners and adding kilometers of Armco barrier.

Tolle Bilder am Anfang von der Drohne aus der "grünen Hölle". Wir haben in Deutschland mit dem Nürburgring ja auch eine... :-)
1:58: Sehr schöne Onboard Aufnahmen sind das.
3:04: Absolut am Limit.
3:18 - 3:24: Sehr spektakuläre high speed Passage - der Speed kommt bei den Aufnahmen super rüber.
3:59: Hermann Waldy jun. hat ja unglaublich stark performt im Tatuus.
4:06: Die charismatische aber doch ein wenig unrhythmische Zielkurve. Gott sei Dank gibt es bei Bergrennen keine track limits und kein halo...
4:33: Alexander Hin hat schon sauber performt und die deutsche Fahne ein wenig hochgehalten.
6:23: Sehr soundstark, der spektakuläre Norma von Madrian.
Sehr schöne Footage wieder geworden, bei der der Sound und die Geschwindigkeit super rüber kommen. Vielen Dank fürs Teilen. Gruß Peter

You should give us some introduction to each hillclimb, some information about history, length and tell us about the characteristics of each course.
For example why is it called Green Hell of HC.

I think hill climbing started in germany in the 1930s . Auto union had 16 cylinder silver arrows racing against mercedes on hill climbs . I could be wrong .

Fantastic video! Forgive my ignorance, what’s the advantage of having your exhaust exit via the bonnet?
Stephen one of the advantages is that the exhaust pipe wont radiate heat to the body or suspension components ...

overall a full pipe is not required on a turbo..no back pressure so you can just have a short pipe..shorter the better for the reasons for the other two suggested already.
