I saw them live earlier this year in Las Vegas. They were on a bill where they had to go on 2nd. They performed 6 songs. They played the heaviest songs from the 1st and 2nd cd's. They new one had not come out nor had they revealed anything about it at the show. Vessel never spoke. Not once. They pounded those people with 6 songs and just left. I have never seen a packed house just stand there and wonder......WTH did I just witness???? I have tickets to see them in California in a few months. They are the headliner. I'm more than sure that this will be the single greatest show I will ever see. The Vegas show was just a teaser. This will be the full Worship
One of their most beautiful and heartrending lovesongs they did. And all that with no surprising appearance of guitar, drums and Bass. Just pure poetry and not even the somber sadness thats so often to find in their lyrics.
Their discography is basically EPs One and Two which I treat as sort of prologues. And then they have the trilogy of albums. Sundowning, then there's This Place Will Become Your Tomb, and then finally Take Me Back To Eden. I highly recommend that order. The EPs are up to you, you can listen later, inbetween.. They do have some songs that have grown on me over the years immensely though. I find myself going back to them so much recently. Their sound evolved drastically from One to Two, then the standalone singles like Jaws and The Way That You Were are signifiers of Sundowning that was about to happen. Every album feels like an evolution of sound.
On the Discord, we just refer to Vessel 1 as just Vessel, the drummer as II, the touring members as III and IV, and the touring background vocalists are called Vesselettes. Also, on the albums Vessel 1 is credited to literally everything except the drums. This person is a musical genius. Also, good luck getting tickets to see them bc their tour sold out within I think one or two weeks, and their merch sells out within HOURS of the drops. They really blew up recently and they so deserve it.
Make sure you go back and do the EPs after Take Me Back. Some of my favorite songs by them are on those. I saw them in a tiny club in Knoxville. They are fantastic live.

Really nice to see someone reacting to their older songs. Their old songs are the best.
Yeah they are awesome!
