do you know if its possible to get the glovebox shelf/tray for nexon? showroom says it's whole glove box assembly, can't order the tray alone. boodmo also out of stock for years.
I found passing wire through firewall grommet for fog lamp the toughest job. Even I looked for many videos for this but found non unfortunately. At last, I thought I will figure out the way myself, Initially I tried to puncture the grommet to pass wire through it but I failed. Then I added some extra insulation layer on wire and passed it by squeezing the grommet.I know there is a risk of wire cut as grommet will push the wire against the metal edge but there was no other way and as mentioned above to counter this I have added extra layer of insulation.
And also isn't it really possible to connect/install a reverse camera with the infotainment system, because I've seen this being done in some Hyundai & Suzuki cars.
And another thing can we install steering mounted controls without Android stereo cause I asked many people they say you need to install Android stereo first but the coupler for steering control is already there near the airbag pad.
If the box is accidentally kept open for straight 6 hrs, the lights will continuously on and will lead to draining of battery. In my i20 2011, it only lights up whenever parking light is on. So i20 is more advanced than your car.
This us a stupid thing to say! You need illumination in the glove box even when it's not that dark outside to turn on parking lamps. And how did you determine if 6 hours is the limit? Try 12
