I love listening to them, it takes me back to when I was a teenager. We would stand behind Bayonne High School which overlooked Vetrans stadium and listen to them. Loved it then and love it now!
@@michaeloneill1964 I was fortunate enough to be their Witness the Bridgeman they did a great job, also in 1976 when they show their banana uniform for the very first time at Veterans Stadium oh, I was there as well and totally surprised I was not aware they had a new uniform, and when they come out the crowd went crazy. I will never forget I've been any activity for a long time and they were definitely one of the best all-time entertaining drum and bugle Corps. Believe they scored a perfect score in drumming also the Long Island sunrises senior Court did the same thing, and that was due to Dennis DeLucia one of the top instructors at that time. Several of my friends that were in the Floyd Bennett golden eagles at a Brooklyn in the early 60s played with the Bridgeman alumicor.

My corps forever!!!
Steve Rondinaro said it best - How Loud was it? "I can't hear a Darn thing!" A spine tingling experience for sure.
Love love love love love this so much 💞❣️❤️
Always entertaining. Fond memories. I marched in the Brookhaven Crusaders and Iron Cross.
Just like the Royal Airs....Anaheim Kingsmen etc.....How can you say Goodbye to that?
The corps that broke the mold...and the best exit ever.
And was never going to win. The routine got tiring
@@Mrtellitlikeitis hmmmm, drums kicked ass and won many a time, ya that got really tiring for the winners huh
Awesome, recall to sound of sly 1980’s, the Banana Republic was a top 5 corps with pizzaz!!!!
I still remember the surprise exit maybe in 1976 where they all fell down. You had to be there.
Was that at Giants stadium East Rutherford NJ

I Just Have to Ask You -- Was It Loud? :-)
dats me
Bridgmen still marches G bugles?
Yes Bridgemen march with G Bulges because it remains true to their origins and the Corps owns them (as do many members).
I have a G bugle Mellophone that needs to be put to use! :)
