You should check out the 1955 Tele B Bender that Marty Stuart has that was previously Clarence White’s. Pretty interesting story about how he came to own the guitar.
I recently picked up a “B Blender” which allows you to use a Bigsby vibrato as a b bender while still retaining the ability to use the bigsby as a vibrato. What you get is essentially a replacement arm for the bigsby that you pull up on to B bend. For less than 150$ bucks I figured I had to try it and it is a lot of fun. Takes some getting used to and it took me a bit to get it set up properly but overall I’m pretty impressed with quality and engineering. It still feels a little awkward to pull the bar up with my right pinky while simultaneously picking the note you want to bend. I imagine a parsons style bender that is strap button activated (just pull down on the guitar neck slightly) would be a lot easier to play quickly and fluidly but the B Blender is definitely a fun and inexpensive way to experiment with b bending.
I also bought two years ago Squier Telecaster which sound awesome, but there was one problem. Intonation screw and saddle of A string, was kind a broken. So I figure it out, should I suppose to buy new basic saddle for A string or should I buy little bit different system. Then I bought Duesenberg Multibender from Thomann. And it was much better solution. Even better when I bought Paradigm string, which can stand bending a little bit longer without breaking too easily.
I’ve had one for many years (Hipshot) but,my back is wrecked,so doing the ‘Hip’ thing is a bit of risk…after watching this tonight,I’m gonna rig up a pedal and cable system to pull Hipshot…how hard could it be ?! Cheers…(mine is on a 78 Tele custom…with an Obeche body…which I made 30 years ago…I’ll bet it’s lighter than yours (it’s almost as light as balsa, but sounds great on a Tele)
Best use for an exercise bench I’ve ever seen!
Hahaha. Yes indeed

I will check it out. His name came up during my research

I’d love to see that!
Thanks for the vid. Pretty cool.
You have one of the most interesting guitar channels on youtube.
Keep up the good work.
Thank you!

Right on! I’ll look into Paradigm String and Duesenberg. I’ve not heard of them
I love my Hipshot.
Should tape off the pickups if you use steel wool
