From Los Angeles to Martuni, Artsakh

- Watch this short film produced by Zartonk Media. It is about Shant, who was born and raised in LA, but who moved to Artsakh after the last war.
Initially, he just planned on visiting the homeland, but during his visit the war broke out, during which he repeatedly collected essential supplies for our soldiers and delivered it to them.
Eventually, when the war ended, fate would have it, that he stay and start a new life in Artsakh. Within a year, he found the love of his life, he got married, and then moved to Martuni with her. He recently also became a father.
Shant often organizes fundraisers for projects he initiates in the region of Martuni. If you are interested in supporting some of his projects, make sure to follow the 'Lorik Humanitarian Fund' on Facebook.

Zartonk media should do a bit about our little hero Hrayr Khachatryan, who fought beside his father defending Martuni and died at the age of 12. He was a Martuni native and is buried is there.
I am an Azerbaijani. I respect the life values of this man. Also he is very right about the potential these lands have. Armenians were "given" 30 years of chance to build and thrive the area. In return it was only about exploitation and destruction of the region. Now the legal and true owners are back. Soon all of the Qarabagh will be integrated into Azerbaijan as any other part of it and you will see how the true love to land comes to life. Also, anyone truly willing to live in peace will be welcome.

You said Azerbaijanis say “they want to live together and you see how they behave” - you are partly right. Azerbaijanis claim that. All they want was to live in harmony like it was during soviets.
If Azerbaijanis are not peaceful why they don’t disturb Georgian minorities in the north? Avars? Lezgins? Talishs? Russians? Jews? Tats? Ingiloys? Udins? Kurds? Because these nations didn’t let themselves be manipulated by Russians. You- Armenians did.
We still say “you can live in Karabakh”but under Azerbaijani control as it should be.
You can never claim any country to be “independent” if you are major populated. You can move to any country and live compactly but respecting it’s territorial integrity.
