Awesome hen talk all throughout this video. Denny Gulvas would be proud! Love the cackle at 6:47 and the yelps at 8:20. I will never understand how anyone could say “hens are the worst callers in the woods” - every hen sure sounds like a hen to me!

What a great hunt!! Woodsmanship played a huge part in taking that bird! Congratulations Dave on a very well played hunt.

Dang Dave, you got on one heck of a late season run of gobblers ! I’d rather hunt the second half of season than the first if I had to choose. Sometimes a guy can go on a streak of being covered up in long beards and you sure experienced that last year. Great hunt once again. Gotta love those northern tier mid west states and the big eastern birds that live there.

My dad had me smelling spent shells back in the late 60's. I didn't know anyone else did it.

I live and hunt Wisconsin in the big valley areas. I pick an early season to start and pick up an extra late tag to finish out the year. Love watching you hunt Wisconsin.

I k ow I already commented ,but what a darn beard on that rascal. Pretty woods up yonder there. Good Ole Dave doing it right. I know you ended up not needing it but atleast you did turkey hunters a good thing by asking for permission,bc I'm sure there are a many of people that dont.

If you had a slice of bacon to eat out of a fresh shell that would be extravagant.
