I was getting laughed at in lfg chat last night for suggesting that prot was the way now. The damage is bad but the threat is really good

I had so much fun glad stance tanking in p3! I would pop a stoneskin potion on the hard hitting bosses to negate the armor loss and the threat was great while using the whole toolkit of warrior. What a shame
Love the warrior guides. Would also love a guide for Arms, especially with focus on leveling.
Guide for SoD P4 arms: don’t play it lmao. If you want to single target play dw fury, and if you want to aoe or pvp play glad.

Would it make sense to put two points into improved thunderclap instead of the crit chance? Spamming thunderclap is probably the only way to aggro large amounts of mob as so for trash clearing it could go further than 2% crit. Also glad stance on the feet with these talents could be an effective pvp stance to switch to which doesn’t cost a terribly important rune.
is fast or slow weapon still a thing in sod? looking at the dagger or axe from undermine real, any input anyone?
Do i have to go for razorfang down + wild offering bosses to unlock sword and board on lvl 60? Any advice? i guess i could go BRD boss right? To bad this rune is locked behind it...
Prot is still clumsy and has issues with rage and threat.
Yep, specially in aoe threat. Was in ubrs yesterday there was a shamtank with one shock flamme and lightning Bolt take à huge pack so easily and 1.6k dps on pack.
My thunderclap and Sw are so useless against this. Its kind of frustating as a war tank lover

For AOE/trash pulls, I was thinking go with 1 TC first to start a fight to help build rage. If I SW first, they're all stunned and not hitting me. That's what I did back in original Wrath anyway.
Ya thats the way. If you stun them first you don't get rage

Prot paladin out scales us pretty hard and I struggle with threat with DPS that exceed 2k during a fight.
Outside of that, we're pretty good. Just off my personal experience in a semi-high end raiding guild, I'd put Paladin as an S tier tank, warrior at A, Druid and Rogue at B, Warlock - idk, never seen one tank this phase honestly.
I only disagree with your arms talents. Deflection is great since your haste is increased by 40% directly after a parry so I'm unsure why you forfeit this, Heroic Strike is a rage dump so it doesn't matter. So from top to bottom in the arms tree: 1st row: 2/5/3. 2nd row: 2/0/0 then 3/3 deep wounds and 2/2 Impale. Fury, 3/5 Cruelty. I didn't think too much about anticipation, but I will try this instead of Toughness.

why imp heroic strike over parry chance? when are you using heroic strike?
Heroic Strike is high threat so you'll use it when you want more threat and have the rage to spare.
i thought we should allways stay in gladiator stance why not using it i don't understand ??
They nerfed threat 30% glad is dead
why defense give attack power?
one of the changes is that everytime you shield slam you get 4 times your extra defense as ap for 10 secs
any WA for SS procs?
It procs a lot brother. You will use it a lot

No I don't think so. The damage is bad. Its the threat modifiers from defensive stance that make it so good

No one will be glad tanking with 30% threat reduction. It's just not possible.

Even tho the threat is really good, im worried thay no one will want warrior because rogue and warlock will do so much more damage.
For a top guild it might, your average raid leader only wants a tank that holds aggro and doesnt die so i aint worried
Vigilance is now only 5% threat instead of 10%. :(
Tooltipp says 10% still on live server. We got the p4 patch already
It is a datamine from 10 hours ago, they didnt decide it yet but I honestly if it goes through I just dont know what is going through aggrend's mind
5% of raid-wide threat. No longer 10% from 1 target.
@@chrisliftstv If that's the case, I feel like more people would be talking about it because that would be a massive threat buff.
