Knowing that Squishy and Garret were feeling really ill and almost didn't play makes this even more insane. These players are incredibly skilled but their mechanics are even exceeded by their mental game. How can you possibly bounce back feeling ill and going down 3 - 0? With this attitude they can beat any team even BDS.
And additionally Sizz did such a great job keeping the positive vibes up.
I agree, i feel like sizz played a big role here and i heard justin doing more comms too, just to make up for garrett and squish being a bit ill
dude it’s crazy how calm they were throughout the first three games going down 0-3. i could never stay that calm especially if i got braziled in one of them
Hey man I hate to be that guy but you do realize they are playing a video game? Feeling ill has actually zero effect on ur ability to push buttons. It’s not like it’s an actual sport where they would be exerting themselves.
@@benjiboi4616 that's a lie. Try playing level 10 faceit csgo with a headache backed with covid. You would want to pass out. Obviously it may not be as bad as real sports but it's still a problem. You read a book with a pounding headache and you might just fall asleep when you reach the end of the page. You go to school with a bad headache and you'll be feeling very distracted in class. Illnesses affect everything my guy
@@benjiboi4616 it’s really bad lol. I’ve tried to play while sick and it’s exhausting and makes you more sick. You exert yourself way more than you’d ever think. You’d definitely have to take something before one of these tournaments to keep the energy levels up. Next time you’re sick, get in some ranked games and see for yourself.

The best thing about this trio is it's never over until it's over. Watching them almost reverse sweep BDS in the last majors championship, and pull this off just proves this team is a threat even when it seems like it's done. The fact this is also done against some of the best players and teams in the world is mind blowing.

@@totallunatic547 they didn’t change strategy, they just started having fun. That’s how it went in the major, they said it themselves
they don't care honestly. They are already qualified for winter split. They just care about the reputation at this point.
You can see that they're not feeling it when they're down by so much but what I admire is that they stay positive and keep up with the comms which is something that most teams wont't do
This is easily one of my favorite series and the match up between NRG and Faze will always be one of the best.

Sizz is such a good coach for keeping the good vibes up.
He's good at keeping the positivity up. But does he actually coach the team? like give input on how they should play and things they should work on doing in game? I'm just curious cause all I hear from him is comments about what has already happened in the games.
I'm telling you, I don't think Sizz gets enough credit. Imo Sizz is one of if not the best coach in RLCS

It almost feels like they are becoming so good that soon they will be able to win majors having fun playing this game (while still training hard in the background). They have proven it yet again that when they get rid of any pressure they can beat best teams even when not feeling 100%

I found it amazing how chill they were towards the end and through all of their games after they were 0-3. Clearly, NRG had Faze shaken enough that they missed that last shot by a bounce. People forget that only a majority of this game is skill-based. You need a strong mental and good connection with your teammates which NRG had. That was enough for the win. Go NRG!!!
As a big EU fan, NRG always impresses me the most with the mental game, best in the world at it, these three are simply the most experienced roster
