One word that defines the difference in age groups between the UK and the Europeans, " Commercials ". Here in the UK, the young lads involved in angling, are nearly all on our commercials. These types of fisheries don't feature in Europe. That's your difference. So do you pick a team of youngsters that are dominating the match scene at places like Lindholme. Barston, etc etc etc. To take on a team of Bulgarian youngsters to fish a big tidal river?. Mmmm now you have an issue. Do you fish a team of experienced codgers to get a silver, or do you write off your own England managerial career with a team of youngsters off the Carp puddles that finish 14th, 22nd 19th etc etc hoping and believing that one day they will get the hang of it?
