Last update I heard was last November where he got a visitor and signed some autographs. Sounded like he's able to write large print and retains his short term memory post accident.
I am so so happy that your first Tom brier cover was my song suggestion and now chat can’t get enough of him. Tom brier is such a great pianist. It sad that he can’t play anymore, but his skills and improvisation will be remembered by people everywhere. I hope that you can play more Tom brier covers in the future and maybe Tom brier will see them himself.
Now there’s a suggestion idea: the Yoshi’s Island Athletic by the Raspberry Jam Band that Tom used to play in with a few other folks. IIRC they played that annually before Tom’s accident. Imagine Jerod being in that band even if it’s just him playing along with an old recording of one of their performances.
Thanks for reminding me of the legend. It would be cool to see Jerod drum to Tom's rendition of Ghosts and Goblins theme. That might be a great experience for Jerod.
Tom Brier is a legend!
he absolutely is

Long term memory, you mean. He struggles with short term.

I love tom briers performances! It's absolutely impressive that he sight read everything in most of these videos
Absolutely blows me away!
@@The8BitDrummer ive always said this that the dude is insaneeeee on piano
The actual sight-reading isn't the most impressive part, it's the insanely good improvisation he does on top of it.
Sight read and also add stuff!
Tom Brier revuelve las notas de la partitura y crea algo totalmente nuevo, sin perder la esencia del original. Es increíble
Such a tragedy what happened to the man. Though hes still alive he cant play anymore. Im sure hed be joyed to hear this.
Tom Brier is such a treasure.

This only makes Mario dropping the baby penguin off the cliff more graceful

I can’t not see that left pinkie finger. It’s mesmerizing.
Your appreciation for the performance made me teary eyed.

Tom Brier is a legend. I hope he can play one day and discover Cuphead. He would've loved the soundtrack
His music was the inspiration for some of the game's music (specifically the run 'n' gun levels), and he's even in the credits because of it!
I Found This Channel A Couple Weeks Ago, And I Like It.
Is Tom Brier relevant again? Great to see! The videos are so awesome.
Thanks for reminding me of the legend.
