Having personally toured Demanti’s home, I can tell you what a treat and treasure it truly is. Thank you for sharing your love and passion for the Culture with the world.
When I watched his home tour on another channel, I was saying to myself, “I would love to see a more in-depth tour of his space on Homeworthy,” and look at the universe! His home is one of my favorites. 😍
I admire your pursuit of representation and your collection of things that speak to your soul. It makes not only makes your home your haven, but also a work of art in itself.
I really enjoyed this home tour. It’s not just an eccentric collection of items, it’s a true reflection of your passion for history, antiques and black art. I love how much you clearly value and connect with everything in your space. It’s inspiring to see someone so deeply connected to what they’ve collected. Thanks for sharing your story and individuality through your home!
Demanti O'Bryant, you have a lovely home. It is beautifully decorated. I love the little personal quirky things you have placed in each room, such as the little horse in the living room. I love all the African art work and statues. I love how you placed paintings on the back of the doors. I love the African man (perhaps a Moor) who is a large candelabra. I love all the arches. Your home is absolutely beautiful.
Demanti O’Bryant has a wonderful eye for detail! I thoroughly enjoyed his home tour! The antiques, the artists and art pieces and his detailed descriptions and knowledge of his collection and the artists he has showcased in his home was outstanding and very interesting. Thanks for putting this video together for our enjoyment! 🙏🏾
Love seeing such an unapologetically Black home! And what a refreshing departure from the same-ole-same-ole beige/neutral decor featured on other interior design channels. This is the kind of tour that makes Homeworthy special.
@@creoleking8905Great concept, terrible execution. He needs a storage unit and curtains. Black people I know generally value black elegance and this is not it.
I was not prepared to like this, because I prefer to see pieces displayed with a bit more visual breathing space. But as he went room to room, able to describe in meaningful detail each piece in his collection, I came to really enjoy this. While I personally require more visual calm at home (as a person working in the hectic world of architecture), it's a home that I'd absolutely enjoy visiting and spending time in. What sold it is the depth of his personal knowledge. It's really impressive.
I am impressed that he remembers each artist’s name. And yes this is a museum because there is so much to see and so unique in that everything has a story. TFS!
as someone whos favorite parts of these videos are the art collections, I devoured this home tour. His home needs to be preserved by the state! also, when Demanti said he ate his meals above his stove, I thought to myself, "he's like if Carrie Bradshaw were an art collector instead of a fashion girl" lol.
Just stunning and you are such a great story teller. I especially like how the pieces on either side of the hallway seem to communicate with each other. Such a treat and thank you for sharing your home with us.
It's me commenting on my own comment, but would like to know if you have ever done any writing about your collection. This video has a powerful educational component to it.
I've watched twice now trying to catch the names of artists, especially Frank Surati??? His portrait of man with pink hair and coat with many heads blew me away. I try to rotate my art pieces to avoid being overwhelmed & let each piece have space to shine. But your home is a master of curiosities & style. Well done!
Greetings Demanti, thank you for sharing your beautiful home.😊 FYI: I have two of the Chrome masks that you have in your hallway. I have the one at the top and the one in the middle. I purchased them from a flea market, and I think they came out of a private collection cuz I've never seen those Chrome masks anywhere else except for in your house It was nice to see them.😊
Anything but cookie cutter 🎊. I love a home that fits the owner to a T and does not echo the “ current to do thing”. We as humans are so diverse and it makes for a great watch to see that reflected in where and how we live 💌
I absolutely love this man’s home and the time and patience that he lends to the details of the African-American diaspora. It’s absolutely something for the eyes to behold. My only sadness is that I can’t see it in person. I take joy in the fact that I’m witnessing it here on social media.
I so loved the tour, beautiful art. I would just love to visit to learn more about the pieces. Such a celebration of our culture and history. Thank you for sharing.
Love this. I’ve seen your home on other tours and I watch each time! Never saw the Afrofuturistic hallway before and I LOVE the chrome African masks. Also yes to honor/shout out our Ancestor Andre Leon Talley. Understanding and showcasing how the African Diaspora predates enslavement! Thanks Homeworthy! More please!
Both you and your home are a true celebration of culture. Thank you for sharing your space with the world and for breathing life into all of the artists you mention!
What a fascinating young man. He truly has created a "mini kingdom" for himself. More is more/moor is moor, to be sure. Thank you for opening your home/museum to us.
I COULD LISTEN TO YOU TALK AND EXPLAIN YOUR ART ALL DAY!! , YOUR KNOWLEDGE OF EACH ARTISTS IS SO EDUCATIONAL!! THANK-YOU SO MUCH FOR SHARING YOUR EXCITING HOME!!! I ALSO LIVE IN ATLANTA!!!❤
Wow, this is more a museum than a home and the host is really nice and has amzing knowledge! But I really ask myself how one can live in this home. To me it looks claustrophobic, there is no place for anything, feels like I couldn't even breathe there. But as long as he is happy with it, it's fine. All the best to him and greetings from Germany 🍀😊
MY GOODNESS YOU ARE SERIOUSLY CREATIVE!! YOUR PLACE IS BEYOND BEAUTIFUL!!! WOW!!! IT WOULD TAKE ME SIX MONTHS TO WALK AND ADMIRE YOUR HOME!! I HAD TO WATCH YOUR VIDEO 6 TIMES!! SO WONDERFUL 😂😂😂😂
Definitely feels like an art gallery in another country...….. very interesting. Happy New Year 2025 and may you have much success for the New Year to come!
From the blackamore statues the American Indian busts (negro) to the habesha outfit to every other negro civilisation on earth represented… this was so refereshing to observe BRAVAAAAAA 🌞🌞🌞🙏🏿
Your home is so beautiful I will continue to pray and wish for a home like this for me and my sons. Jesus I know you will guide me. I’m overwhelmed as a single mom both of my sons are special needs and require so much from me. Jesus I need your help providing for my children so that they may have all they need. Lord I’m constantly struggling each month to pay rent and I struggle to buy groceries, for my sons I am ashamed. Strengthen me Lord so I can hold my head up hear my prayers help me overcome these obstacles you are my strength.💕
Beautiful Home! But you really can't see the beauty of all the decor because it's so much stuff in a small House! Sometimes too much is not good! # Hoarder 😂
I really find his style claustrophobic. I get that you’d want to have your identity influence the design aesthetic, but this is taking it too far. Clearly appears to be someone obsessed with identity politics. Sad.
@ of course he can have as much bad taste as he likes - but I’m sceptical about all the comments by others saying how much they love his style. People are just saying that to be politically correct.
@@vamagumbo I can assure you that nothing is ailing me. I’m fully entitled to express an opinion. In my opinion, this man’s “style” is claustrophobic. I suspect many people would agree with me, but refuse to say so because it’s not politically correct to criticise a so-called “poc” these days. Expressing fake admiration for this “style” is just being patronising towards him - but that’s the way things are nowadays.
Yeah, I agree and I’m African-American I don’t know why Black people keep thinking that they back in the 60s somewhere we can do anything the heck we want even president of the United States this woke crap is just you being brainwashed by race hustlers who don’t do anything for the black community. Love this! Your home is an inspiration Demanti! Love to see black people celebrate their history & identity in their spaces! Glorious!
Such a thoughtful and inspired home that he's curated with his own hand and heart. No outside designer could have given this home this life.
Inspiring space and I so appreciate the sharing of his knowledge of art from the African diaspora🙏🏿❤️
