Been driving this track so much and recently competed in the ACS comp. You should definitely use neckfx in custom shaders patch set the steering to 0 and the velocity to like 75 makes a huge difference for me.
Watch Hynesz's VDC car tuning guide he explains what things do when you change them. Usually VDC cars have more front anti rollbar value then rear is the main thing for me setting it to 0 always helps a ton. Lots of pro drivers have the roof cam but if you want to maintain visual of the rear id just set it a little higher so you can watch over your car and even the smoke if you want to keep it on. And there are a couple of good learner cars in the VDC carpack id say BMW Eurofighter is the best and you can drive that even without tuning it. On the Eurofighter (Or anycar) i would change the tire pressure like explained in the tuning guide and just reset to pits if the tires get to hot as they only stay in the green for about 2 runs.
10:14 if you want to enable for the driver's head to move while in first person go into settings > Custom Shaders Patch > Neck FX, and then just enable it Also I could probably ask how to do the same thing but in 3rd person cuz my 3rd person cam is only stuck in the rear of the car, kinda like how Gran Turismo does it, also I'm kinda new to Assetto so I'm still learning
I always struggle with all the fd car because of how snappy they are, the thing that helped me is you need get the gearing right and just stand on it then tune in your side bite how you feel comfortable. Might just be me but you can’t peddle these cars like usual car because they grip up very quickly and then unstable the car pushing you off line. Hope this helps. ❤️
the thing sticking out of the back of the car is the filler neck for a dry fill system (i think thats what its called) it will take a full 5 gallon fuel jug in approx 10-20ish seconds
On the right side of your screen open "SOL CONFIG" and go to the page that has ambient light, and turn down "Ambient Light Saturation %" this will make the shadows less blue :) Enjoy slap, thanks for the shoutout!
The cars need to be tuned accordingly, its possible to drive them stock but the diff power and coast need to be lowered for these cars to feel much more managable.
englishtown has been the grind map! been getting so many laps, have you ran vr on assetto atleast a new gen VR headset? looks and feels way better in tandems i feel like i can touch their doors
In my opinion about the smoke.. dont get me wrong i love it, but its consistency isnt there, i wish the smoke trail was more like The base trail but with the graphics of the new smoke, the wheel spin smoke is perfect tho
The RTR team had a great last round with Adam Lz in first and James Deane in fourth place and Chelsea Denofa in the mix too. If you ask me they’re probably the best trio at the minute. 👌👌
Slap is exactly the type of player that makes my blood boil in this server... I can't stand it when someone trys to start a train when people are battling... Runs take a few seconds, do you have that short of a attention span that you cant wait a few seconds? I don't care how good anyone thinks they are, or what their intentions are (Im not going to get close bro!), I don't want to worry about what some clown behind me might do in a battle. I join this server to practice battling, if I want to do trains (which I almost never do because public lobbys are full of people that don't belong in them) there are plenty of maps that make FAR more sense then half of a figure 8 track thats over in 10 seconds....
i would be so hartful if i can have a day to run with you on this track i always hop into the englishtown lobbies always CDA|TTVRyleeSigma is what ya wanna watch out for if im in focuse ima run your door through out the hole track lol

Love drifting low hp cars, but there is something extra satisfying about linking a whole track with high horse power

go to csp settings and look for Chaser Camera and activate it,you can also download scripts for chaser camera to change 3rd person view

Hey slap if the car is gripping up fd drivers pull the handbrake to loosen up their tires and if you have ur handbrake setup you should use
