Something as simple as the water turbulance behind the torpedoes and the propeller, brings the whole thing to life. I know it was not simple but hey, Brilliant.
As a retired submariner, this is awesome! Great touch of history and such vision capturing her in action while under the sea. Great job or as we say in the Navy Bravo Zulu!
As a former Navy man ( SK2 ) , I gotta say , THIS IS AMAZING !. It is so beautiful words fail me. The only,, ONLY thing that can improve this would be to attach a small brass plaque to the base with the sub's name and number. Other than that , WELL DONE , Sir !!. 😁🇺🇸🇵🇭🇩🇪👌👍👏
One of the most calming, relaxing videos I have ever seen, and the end result is nothing short of a magnificent piece of artwork and history. Congratulations on all counts!
I saw a documentary about the submarine on TV this week. I was impressed with his performance in the war, and today, seeing his work, I was very moved. Really much. Your art is priceless.
I couldn't believe how beautiful the finished model came out. I am a WW2 buff and submarines were my favorite subject. You've really did the Gato proud in this work. Wonderfully done.
But usually they charge such high prices at stores that after a heart beat comes a heart attack... Sorry to say, two times at airports I ran across awesome airplane scale models in glass, so fine as causing you heart beat, but the pricy of 450$ was a cold shower
I was watching this video and turned it around to show how cool it was to my family and everyone was asking if it was a real bottle, etc. I never got bored watching. My family and I loved the finish product!
At first I was asking myself "Huh, what's that tiny thing he is filling up? Some part of the Model?". Then I realized that this WAS the model, holy shit that is small. Sometimes I forget just HOW small 1:700 is.
It's not what you think if you are referring to the traditional ship in a bottle. Those are assembled inside an actual glass bottle piece by piece all from the mouth of the bottle.
Very beautiful, you might have "cheated" the "ship in a bottle" part by creating the bottle around the model. But the work that went into that was not making it any easier, and the end result is simply stunning.
That's fantastic! The amount of time, and detail in the sea surf and turbulence recreation from the propellers and torpedos is amazing, so realistic! Don't stop doing what you do I want to see more projects.
What a beautiful reveal of a timeless and brilliant technique. I can have a notoriously short attention span, but I couldn't turn away from it for a moment. The final product is priceless. So now, if I ever receive one like that, I'll have the proper appreciation not just for the thought, but the labor of love behind the gift.
Absolutely beautiful..!!! The time and patience it took to build was worth it. Builder was a stickler for detail and accuracy, those are the God given talents of a Brain Surgeon. Loved the video!!!!!
i have never seen bottle arts never did i expect to watch any of it but look where i am youtube did something grate this time and i will be subscribing just to calm my nerves and watch some breathtaking art
I fully agree. But I am only a guy working on a table in my kitchen ( with the exception of the lathe in my summer house) so it is very difficult to do serious carpentry work in a kitchen with no special tools. 🙂
Amazing job ! I love works with resin and now the UV came to help very much. Show of details as the "lather", sandpaper 3000 , the torpedos firing deserve a Nobel Art award. The number of submarine is correct, it is:: 212 smart and genius mind !
Filling 10 litres of Epoxy into a large form - waits 72h and it's perfect. Me pouring 10cl in a tiny casting mold - wait 7 days and it asks me to kill it...
A great piece of work and history with it. Looking amazing masterpiece and wow, until the end I thought it was in an actual bottle, great art. 🙏🏴🇬🇧
The folks at the lunatic asylum must be allowed to watch UA-cam as 806 of them put thumbs down. Who else can thumbs down this kind of creativity and artistic talent. Well done!

The torpedoes in the neck of the bottle is just visionary. Fantastic

Hello Teacher!
It's a great idea to make the bottle itself out of resin instead of putting the submarine in a bottle. It's so beautiful!
Whoa. Sensei is also in here 🙌
Many thanks teacher 🙂👍
Never thought I would see this before
And that’s a first
Never have I gotten that from a UA-cam, thanks that made my day
Your "vision" for this project is unbelievable. Even better is the exectuion.. Words and pictures cannot do it justice..
Thanx for posting
Nicely done. Your patience was rewarded.
Wow, patience, skill, tools is a great promo for this hobby. Congratulations.

Amazing
Awesome, had me totally convinced that this was actually in a glass bottle, the small air pockets in the resin looks so right, very impressed here.
Ha ha, it's like the sub is trapped inside the bottle and fires the torpedoes in order to destroy the cap and break free.
Great job as always Mike.
Lol I was thinking the same when making it. Many thanks John
Yes, my 1st thought, too...
Not likely watch this and laugh.

I think that the very same way the Star ship enterprise got away from...........
I couldn't believe how beautiful the finished model came out. I am a WW2 buff and submarines were my favorite subject. You've really did the Gato proud in this work. Wonderfully done.
Many thanks Chris 👍
🤯 - mind blown - I couldn’t believe how tiny the ship actually was before the bottle!!
Anyone else find it relaxing to watch this? Beautiful work!
AMAZING!!! If they made these for retails and stores I would buy one or two in a heartbeat, it looks so amazing!!!!!

I'd like to pay you a different compliment. As a video producer for over 25 years, this is a well put together and pleasing video to watch. Well done!
Thank you👍
Well now that I've seen how these thing are made I'm still Amazed.

Made his own bottle just brilliant. Those torpedoes look real. Fabulous work my friend.
Thank you! Cheers!
It's just wonderful. GORGEOUS
Very impressive, such a beautiful final product.
A touching and suitably majestic honor for a famous boat.
Never seen so many skills in one place. It is simply beautiful!!

BEAUTIFUL! As a 22 year Submarine veteran I truly loved this project. Thank You.
Me: "How do you put it into the bottle?"
4THECRAFT: "What bottle?"
😄😄😄👍
Absolutely loved the video, my favorite little detail was the churned up water from the propellers.
Your work is “ stunning” , appreciate you sharing this with us. Thank you.
Одно из лучших произведений из эпоксидки, что я видел!!!!
The coolest ship in a bottle Ive ever seen.
Beautiful work and, thank God, no hideous music just soothing background sounds.
Beach Goer: Is that a whale?
Sonar Operator: Captain! We are going too shallow!
Captain: Fire torpedoes!

Poor Gato will never escape the bottle - the torpedoes won't run far enough to arm themselves before they hit the bottle cap!
Forget cavitation, run her to ramming speed!

Thank you too for watching 👍
Absolutely beautiful 😍,
Please do a Battleship in a bottle or an ocean liner in a bottle next
Amazing because the Teacher using the right music!! Nice
fascinating, i rarely watch videos to the end lol, this had me mesmerized, so creative!
Oh my god me too!!
Это фантастика!!!Прекрасная работа мастера!!!!
Imagine the sub crew while you had it spinning on the lathe :-D
Superb piece of craftsmanship my friend, thanks for sharing. 👍🏴
It's pretty cool watching the real life post-apocalypse hidden collectable items being created.

Remarkable. I like the bottle, was looking for a real bottle until it suddenly struck me, brilliant. Bravo.
fascinating his work, I love submarines, so it was a gift to see how beautiful it became. Congratulations!!!!
I really like the way the class is crystal clear
Amazing and tremendously creative.
VERY clever way to approach this project. Finished result looks bloody excellent.
This is amazing, an artifact. Very nice idea with the result being great. I look forward to the next project.
You truly do think outside the box after watching your videos I never know what to say but you are a true artist

The video production, your reverence for the subject, and the model itself, were all very powerful emotionally. Bravo sir!!

If they shot the torpedoes like that, it would blow off the bottle cap and everything would leak out of the bottle.
Just kidding...that's amazing!
