One of the most calming, relaxing videos I have ever seen, and the end result is nothing short of a magnificent piece of artwork and history. Congratulations on all counts!
Something as simple as the water turbulance behind the torpedoes and the propeller, brings the whole thing to life. I know it was not simple but hey, Brilliant.
As a retired submariner, this is awesome! Great touch of history and such vision capturing her in action while under the sea. Great job or as we say in the Navy Bravo Zulu!
I was watching this video and turned it around to show how cool it was to my family and everyone was asking if it was a real bottle, etc. I never got bored watching. My family and I loved the finish product!
I saw a documentary about the submarine on TV this week. I was impressed with his performance in the war, and today, seeing his work, I was very moved. Really much. Your art is priceless.
I couldn't believe how beautiful the finished model came out. I am a WW2 buff and submarines were my favorite subject. You've really did the Gato proud in this work. Wonderfully done.
As a former Navy man ( SK2 ) , I gotta say , THIS IS AMAZING !. It is so beautiful words fail me. The only,, ONLY thing that can improve this would be to attach a small brass plaque to the base with the sub's name and number. Other than that , WELL DONE , Sir !!. 😁🇺🇸🇵🇭🇩🇪👌👍👏
But usually they charge such high prices at stores that after a heart beat comes a heart attack... Sorry to say, two times at airports I ran across awesome airplane scale models in glass, so fine as causing you heart beat, but the pricy of 450$ was a cold shower
At first I was asking myself "Huh, what's that tiny thing he is filling up? Some part of the Model?". Then I realized that this WAS the model, holy shit that is small. Sometimes I forget just HOW small 1:700 is.
Absolutely beautiful..!!! The time and patience it took to build was worth it. Builder was a stickler for detail and accuracy, those are the God given talents of a Brain Surgeon. Loved the video!!!!!
It's not what you think if you are referring to the traditional ship in a bottle. Those are assembled inside an actual glass bottle piece by piece all from the mouth of the bottle.
Very beautiful, you might have "cheated" the "ship in a bottle" part by creating the bottle around the model. But the work that went into that was not making it any easier, and the end result is simply stunning.
That's fantastic! The amount of time, and detail in the sea surf and turbulence recreation from the propellers and torpedos is amazing, so realistic! Don't stop doing what you do I want to see more projects.
I fully agree. But I am only a guy working on a table in my kitchen ( with the exception of the lathe in my summer house) so it is very difficult to do serious carpentry work in a kitchen with no special tools. 🙂
i have never seen bottle arts never did i expect to watch any of it but look where i am youtube did something grate this time and i will be subscribing just to calm my nerves and watch some breathtaking art
What a beautiful reveal of a timeless and brilliant technique. I can have a notoriously short attention span, but I couldn't turn away from it for a moment. The final product is priceless. So now, if I ever receive one like that, I'll have the proper appreciation not just for the thought, but the labor of love behind the gift.
The folks at the lunatic asylum must be allowed to watch UA-cam as 806 of them put thumbs down. Who else can thumbs down this kind of creativity and artistic talent. Well done!
Filling 10 litres of Epoxy into a large form - waits 72h and it's perfect. Me pouring 10cl in a tiny casting mold - wait 7 days and it asks me to kill it...
Fantastic work, and artistry. OFC, a sub in water that shallow would create huge surface disturbances if it wasn't ground into the sediment. And water that shallow would be so dense the bubbles of launching would be climbing up the bow and behind the torps almost as fast as they were moving forward.
Amazing job ! I love works with resin and now the UV came to help very much. Show of details as the "lather", sandpaper 3000 , the torpedos firing deserve a Nobel Art award. The number of submarine is correct, it is:: 212 smart and genius mind !
After watching this video: I know that I can do this too. I have the tools, the skills, the knowledge, and now the techniques to do it. I will be starting one similar to it very soon.

Wow, patience and planning, very impressive!
@@peterwilhelmsson4168 yes they have my permission as long as they give credit and link to my UA-cam video. Thanks for your concern.

Hello Teacher!
It's a great idea to make the bottle itself out of resin instead of putting the submarine in a bottle. It's so beautiful!
Whoa. Sensei is also in here 🙌
Many thanks teacher 🙂👍
Never thought I would see this before
And that’s a first
Never have I gotten that from a UA-cam, thanks that made my day
Wow, patience, skill, tools is a great promo for this hobby. Congratulations.
The torpedoes in the neck of the bottle is just visionary. Fantastic
One of the most calming, relaxing videos I have ever seen, and the end result is nothing short of a magnificent piece of artwork and history. Congratulations on all counts!
Your "vision" for this project is unbelievable. Even better is the exectuion.. Words and pictures cannot do it justice..
Thanx for posting

I saw a documentary about the submarine on TV this week. I was impressed with his performance in the war, and today, seeing his work, I was very moved. Really much.
Your art is priceless.
Amazing
Absolutely loved the video, my favorite little detail was the churned up water from the propellers.
Nicely done. Your patience was rewarded.
Одно из лучших произведений из эпоксидки, что я видел!!!!
Awesome, had me totally convinced that this was actually in a glass bottle, the small air pockets in the resin looks so right, very impressed here.
I couldn't believe how beautiful the finished model came out. I am a WW2 buff and submarines were my favorite subject. You've really did the Gato proud in this work. Wonderfully done.

I'd like to pay you a different compliment. As a video producer for over 25 years, this is a well put together and pleasing video to watch. Well done!
Thank you👍
AMAZING!!! If they made these for retails and stores I would buy one or two in a heartbeat, it looks so amazing!!!!!
But usually they charge such high prices at stores that after a heart beat comes a heart attack... Sorry to say, two times at airports I ran across awesome airplane scale models in glass, so fine as causing you heart beat, but the pricy of 450$ was a cold shower
Это фантастика!!!Прекрасная работа мастера!!!!
🤯 - mind blown - I couldn’t believe how tiny the ship actually was before the bottle!!
Anyone else find it relaxing to watch this? Beautiful work!
Ha ha, it's like the sub is trapped inside the bottle and fires the torpedoes in order to destroy the cap and break free.
Great job as always Mike.
Lol I was thinking the same when making it. Many thanks John
Yes, my 1st thought, too...
Not likely watch this and laugh.

Made his own bottle just brilliant. Those torpedoes look real. Fabulous work my friend.
Thank you! Cheers!
The coolest ship in a bottle Ive ever seen.

Thank you too for watching 👍
Well now that I've seen how these thing are made I'm still Amazed.

Да, это было три Т:
1. Труд
2. Творчество
3. Талант.
Спасибо, что своим профессиональным видео подвигаете на три Т других!
Many thanks for watching
Imagine the sub crew while you had it spinning on the lathe :-D
Simply ... awesome... astonishing! Bravo and thank you for this 12 minutes of real human Labour.
Poor Gato will never escape the bottle - the torpedoes won't run far enough to arm themselves before they hit the bottle cap!
Forget cavitation, run her to ramming speed!
Never seen so many skills in one place. It is simply beautiful!!
Very beautiful, you might have "cheated" the "ship in a bottle" part by creating the bottle around the model. But the work that went into that was not making it any easier, and the end result is simply stunning.
I really like the way the class is crystal clear
Me: "How do you put it into the bottle?"
4THECRAFT: "What bottle?"
😄😄😄👍
BEAUTIFUL! As a 22 year Submarine veteran I truly loved this project. Thank You.

Pure Art !!!! That's just beautiful !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Absolutely beautiful 😍,
Please do a Battleship in a bottle or an ocean liner in a bottle next
Very impressive, such a beautiful final product.
A touching and suitably majestic honor for a famous boat.
I think this piece of art deserves a mahogany base.

Beautiful work and, thank God, no hideous music just soothing background sounds.
It's just wonderful. GORGEOUS
WOW ............. AMAZING WORK CONGRATULATIONS
Amazing and tremendously creative.
Remarkable. I like the bottle, was looking for a real bottle until it suddenly struck me, brilliant. Bravo.
fascinating, i rarely watch videos to the end lol, this had me mesmerized, so creative!
Oh my god me too!!
VERY clever way to approach this project. Finished result looks bloody excellent.
Beach Goer: Is that a whale?
Sonar Operator: Captain! We are going too shallow!
Captain: Fire torpedoes!
your achievements deserve a great museum because they are masterpieces.

Nicely done... excellent craftsmanship.. thanks for sharing.
That might just be the coolest damned thing that I have ever seen...
Very nice. A punt at the bottom of the bottle would have perfected the illusion. You do some great work.
That was beautiful and very relaxing to watch you work, a cork would’ve been nice too.

It's pretty cool watching the real life post-apocalypse hidden collectable items being created.
ROFL! Future archaeologists - "Obviously this is a religious artifact, clearly demonstrating that the ancients worshiped a sea god called 212..."
The video production, your reverence for the subject, and the model itself, were all very powerful emotionally. Bravo sir!!

This is amazing, an artifact. Very nice idea with the result being great. I look forward to the next project.
Fantastic work, and artistry.

If they shot the torpedoes like that, it would blow off the bottle cap and everything would leak out of the bottle.
Just kidding...that's amazing!
WOW!!! Amazing craftsmanship!!

très beau travail et très beau résultat. Un mot Magnifique
You truly do think outside the box after watching your videos I never know what to say but you are a true artist
Fantastic work! I am envious of your skill.
I didn’t expect you making a bottle out of resin for your submarine in a bottle project.
Increíble diorama, lo mejor que he visto en meses.
wow!
I am totally impressed
GREAT workmanship
Very well done. Subs don't fire in shallow water like this. Wouldn't survive an hour. Still bloody lovely to look at.
Very nice and thanks for showing how its done
Amazing craftsmanship!

Amazing! And tricky.
- How to get the U-boat into the bottle?
- Hmm... Let's make a bottle around the U-boat!
Sometimes we have to think out of the box 🙂
