Thanks! The doc with jobs does not get through though, I also checked the spams. Otherwise it's nice, I've been looking for a "virtual money" tool for a long time!
Thanks for sharing this, Thom! With the change to Stash101, I’m thankful for your video as I scramble to make the shift before the end of the month. You’re the best! Thanks!🎉
I really like this! We have a token economy at our school, but it's paper and is easily lost or stolen. Additionally, the store is only once per quarter. I'd rather use something that works more like a real bank account, so my 3rd graders will be testing this as soon as break ends.
Yeah I was never a fan of doing a classroom economy via paper money. Super easily for everything to get so unorganized. Let me know if you end up trying it out Stephen!
This resource looks fantastic! I am considering implementing classroom jobs and a classroom economy system, but I am debating between this and Classcraft. Would you happen to have any advice?
Quick Question- How would you go about registering students to be "bankers" and having some of them see and manage the transactions for their clients? Would they be able to do that from the regular student side of things, or would they have to be registered differently?
@@kpieceemmry3387 It's not physical money. With ClassEquity, you basically create an account for them and are able to deposit money in their account (virtually) for their job. Like direct deposit.
I didnt get it, you offer to pay 1600 USD to edit a video. Do you pay them with real money, if yes where does the money come from? And isn't it illegal to hire minors? I doubt high school students want to play with worthless money, or is it like scam where I put you to work but you only can buy my products (credits-money) that are over priced?
Hey Gustav! It's not real money, it's pretend classroom money that they can use to purchase things in a class store. Items can also be auctioned so that way they end up being priced based on demand.
@@NewEdTechClassroom thanks for the feedback. I am trying to change the dynamics in my classroom. This one sounds interesting. How many lessons does sit take to complete the whe things. I have groups that only take lessons 2twice a week.
