    TIL there are "Steelhead" trout. Thank goodness for captioning because your audio leaves a lot to be desired. Great job, everyone who worked so hard to accomplish this. The boon to wildlife is incalculable. Hooray.

    The source of water is glac... feed even with the dam gone the water source is glac... fed. All those elements are the same. There will not be a backwater to depend on in times of need. The entire environment sufferers during the bad times. You and others celebrating the removal of a dam does not eliminate the reality of nature.

    Well they just removed the dam where I live and there is nothing there now. Where we could fish and there was water before, now there is nothing but rocks and maybe ankle deep water in spots. 47 yrs of a beautiful river now looks like absolute garbage why again? I have a feeling you all are screwing things up more than helping.
