Yes of course, It didn’t have much to do with the travel aspect, it was A LOT of behind the scenes mistakes and issues, although while walking to dinner our maps did take us through a part of town we could tell we didn’t belong in and felt extremely uneasy while walking through it! So if you ever decide to walk somewhere make sure you know the parts you’re going to walk through and try not to walk alone (especially at night) just for personal reassurance! 😊
@@taylorsaunderss Thank you! so much for responding to be honest I thought for a second you guys got food poisoning from Jollibee's! lol keep up the great work! looking forward to rest of your adventure.
3 things I would recommend to anyone traveling to the Philippines Get a neck wallet, and do a large exchange at the airport, I've found that money changers outside airport are extremely fussy about the condition of bills. Brand new 100 bills from bank only! Get your sim card at airport, new sim card law's in the Philippines make the process much more complicated in my opinion, I preferred "Globe". Also I bought new phone before departure, and put that on international plan to avoid roaming fees💸 Took my old and phone and placed sim card in that unit. Used my old phone in case something happened Lost, stollen, destroyed. Kept my good phone in hotel safe with passport, and neck wallet with a few thousand dollars. Also carry a separate wallet!! When I went out my wallet only contained 1 credit card and ID and approximately 10,000 pesos Always use credit cards, "cash advance" at BDO ATM machines at banks. Never use debit card!!!!
It was chaotic right but so many place to visit the IT PARK, moalboal sardines sanctuary, osmenia peak, the tumalog, kawasan waterfalls canyoneering and oslob shark adventure, nearby chocolate hills of bohol, and siargao surfing adventure ❤
These are the best things to do in Cebu. Canyoneering Experience in Kawasan Falls, Moalboal Sardines Run, Oslob Whale shark Encounter, Tumalog Falls, Osmena Peak.
Ya thats good sometimes you can not go to what ever you places you ,but thest you experiment yourself to what ever you see and explore different places in cebu.
Welcome to the Philippines, don’t worry it’s natural to feel self conscious but it is important to remember people may stare for many different reasons. You two are lovely couple. Enjoy your stay! New subscriber from Toronto, Canada🇨🇦🇵🇭
i miss CE BU city, theres no scammers, its more like upcharging, visit Julie's Bakery, the red sandwitch is my favorite, try Andocks, Army Navy Burrito ! I can recommend more stuff but I also have videos of cebu city myself !
After Cebu, go to Bohol by Ferry typically takes around 2 hours. (Ocean Jet, 2Go Travel & Supercat) Have a lunch at Loboc River Cruise, Go Loboc Ecotourism Adventure Park, go to Chocolate Hills, Alona Beach, Panglao Island, Balicasag Island, Danao Adventure Park and different Falls in Bohol. Rent a motorcycle to drive around Bohol.
Seeing lots of stray cats and dogs depresses me when visiting the Philippines last year. That’s why we bought cat and dog foods the following day and fed whichever cat or dog we bump into. I don’t think these animals will make it another day but at least we fed them on their potential last meal. That’s the best I can do. Life is hard in the Philippines if you can give them tips like 50 or 100 pesos that will be a huge help even though tips is not mandatory there.
Yes it’s very hard to see and it makes us soo sad seeing all the strays :( we are always giving the animals we see food and water! As well as tips of course! 🤗
5:15 people are praying in the church. 9:19 we pinoys don't use knife 😂 we use the spoon or fork to cut food 😁 that burger with mushroom and sauce is compared to Salisbury steak. Well, everyone has their own opinion about Jollibee. What happened at the end?
Taylor you are Amazing and Beautiful, Thank You for the perfect Pronounciation of my City "Cebu" Philippines. Actually my go to Fried Chicken is KFC next is Popeyes then Jollibee, in the U.S. We also have Jollibee in Seattle, Washington Vancouver Canada is only in the border, We use to travel to Vancouver every year but not any more. Where you from in Canada? I Will subscribe to your Channel.. ♡♡♡ ♥🇵🇭
Get out of the city. South Cebu is the real attraction. Diving, Canyoneering, and waterfall hunting (which is Cebu's main attraction tbh) Look up Cambais Falls, Inambakan Falls, Tumalog Falls, Aguinid falls, Dao Falls, Binalayan Falls...etc.
Funny , you have the Phillipine flag in the video banner… I’ve been travelling the Phillipines since January 4 and still have never seen any Phillipine flags, unlike Vietnam, they are EVERYWHERE !
Someone commented that Manila sucks. (a fan of Claire Danes' maybe, lol) I'd still recommend Manila, though. Places to visit in the Philippine capital are the San Agustin Church- the oldest church in the Philippines located in the Historic Walled City of Intramuros (other cool places are within Intramuros as well), Binondo- World's Oldest Chinatown, Asia's oldest university the University of Santo Tomas (older than Harvard), Rizal Park-one of the largest parks in Asia and it's where you can see the monument of the National Hero of the Philippines Dr. Jose Rizal, National Museum of Fine Arts where you can see the Spoliarium- the most famous and largest painting in the Philippines by another Philippine hero Juan Luna which won gold medal at the Exposición Nacional de Bellas Artes in Madrid in 1884, World's biggest IKEA store located in one of the World's biggest malls SM Mall of Asia, World's Largest Multicolor Dancing Fountain at Okada Manila, Greenbelt in Makati, Ayala Triangle Gardens in Makati, BGC (Bonifacio Global City) High Street- one of Manila's most modern business districts, Venice Grand Canal Mall also located in BGC.
fun fact: monuments of our national hero can be found in some cities in canada. you can see them in brampton, toronto, markham, airdrie, montreal, and winnipeg. another monument will soon rise near niagara falls, the same place he visited on may 12, 1888. i don't know if you guys love timmies but maybe you can visit their first branch in southeast asia which opened in 2017 at uptown mall in BGC.
Jollibee's quality in PH is dwindling day by day. Even us filipinos are not happy recently with the shrinkflation happening with Jollibee. Sucks. Popeyes and Mcdonalds are much viable options now compared to jollibee. Sad saying this as a filipino
Muslim intruder!? How absurd to know that the native to the land will be call an intruder😬 Lapu-lapu is a muslim who has a statue in Cebu because he fought for the land and the people of the Philippines against the Spaniards, he killed Magellan who's the leader of the spanish soldiers to defend the land of Filipino😕
Can you please explain what happened? if you don't mind so future travelers like myself do not make the same mistakes.

Mga kababayan dapat malinis ang daan at kapaligiran. Ingatan natin biyaya ng Diyos at lalong pagandahin at hwag warakin.
God bless to all! 😇🥰
Welcome To the Philippines Ho was The Intense heat here 😂 when You Go Out Side you must Have At least one foldable Umbrella it lessen the heat😄
The heat here is crazy! but a lot better than freezing cold Canada 😅
If you are looking for more adventures go to the southern part of Cebu :)
If you haven't visited Boracay, it's a must-see destination. 🥰
We haven’t been yet, but it’s on our list 😍
Nahhh Boracay is overrated. Palawan Coron Elnido and Siargao are much better options

Love the Philippines. Beautiful country with friendly people. But the food sucks so bad. It's always 10% hit and 90% miss.
We do notice it’s harder to find food here that isn’t westernized and crazy expensive ! 😩
Funny , you have the Phillipine flag in the video banner… I’ve been travelling the Phillipines since January 4 and still have never seen any Phillipine flags, unlike Vietnam, they are EVERYWHERE !
I agree!! It’s very rare to see the flag in this country compared to other SEA countries!!

That’s amazing! and of course, timmie’s is a staple! I hope we are able to compare the differences between countries Tim Hortons! 🍁
I’ve never heard of anyone other than a Filipino say jollibee is good.
I love it. Especially the mango pies. One just opened up in Detroit MI.
Yes I'm gonna drive 200 miles for a burger and mango pie!!!
