I've been to one of the Paris set in May, and was trying hard to find youtube videos that can give me back the same feelings, and you did it very well.
(And what a great setlist, huge performance from the band, the ambiance, everything ... I wish I was there !)

I was lucky enough to see this song performed live, just last night... The pulse beat (the bass) and the drumming prepared the public for the entrance of the keyboard sounds. And then the light show. It was a stunning astral projection journey for everyone of the 65 thousand spectators. You don't need to have acid in your life. This song was exactly the same. Amazing!
darwinism14 I have argued with friends who think Thom Yorke is most likely to have had some stimulant such as cocaine, but I think the music and his lyrics provide the energy without the need for drugs. He is, in my humble opinion, feeling the powerful lyrics....ramble ramble
I saw this performed live in Chicago just a couple weeks ago and, for all the reasons you mentioned, it was amazing...
