I saw this live at celtic connections and it was one of the best musical experiences of my life. The whole gig was amazing, absolutely mind blowing how good these players and the composition are. Well worth going to see them live if possible

If you play other keyboards, I find a good monsynth patch with the right note priority can really knock out these melodic lines from Trad music and get your fingers used to the idiom of it.

I'm not really a fan of this kind of yuppy trad. It's okay as background music in an elevator or hotel lobby, but I much prefer something that explores the incredible riches of Irish traditional music by going deeper into it.

At times the accordionist is playing so quickly it nearly looks as if he is simply waving his hand. I can only dream of playing at such a rate.
