He got home from work one day, changed into sweatpants, cracked open a beer, and headed out to the balcony. My husband thought it was a child, but later found out she was 17 and just a very tiny girl. The door has to stay open because the fire burns continuously for warmth. She spends a lot of her day tending the fire and collecting fire wood. The location of the block building was chosen well with one wall to the back of the hill to protect at lease the back of the building from wind. You can see that the cracks between the blocks on the door side of the house have been filled with mud to close the cracks to prevent wind coming in from that site. With the rain the roof that is covered with plastic sheet to prevent the rain from coming in has to be tended also much to keep water from pooling and causing water to enter the house. There is not that much wood either available to burn in the area the trees are sparce on the hillside and far appart the gathering of wood to burn must be limited to already dead material or in a short time the hillside would be barren. She could with the rocks build up terraces and fill them with dirt to plant vegtables in the spring time for harvest and storage for later use in the winter but that would take more work. The question to ask is where is her husband.

Is any of this real? I don't know, and more importantly, I don't care. I watch them, as I said, while I draw. I love seeing the sometimes breathtaking beauty of the surroundings. I am now retired, but I was a certified welder. I used to think I what I did was hard as hell, but as hard as it was, I never had to do it in a dress or with my children standing at my feet.
I watch because I get a kick out of watching women, with strength and determination, show the men from these countries that a woman can build and cook and educate and take care of their family without a man's help. They're so often treated worse than a farm animal and their only value is in how well they serve a man.
I haven't sent money, but I'll tell you what...
I'd rather see people sending money to her rather than a 17 year old rich girl who lives in Beverly Hills and flashes her boobs for donations so she can buy a BMW because the one her parents gave her for her birthday wasn't the exact shade of red she asked for.

I was amazed at the love and respect they had for their wives and their children.. So, I think it is better not to generalize unless u know each one of them in person 😊

He got home from work one day, changed into sweatpants, cracked open a beer, and headed out to the balcony. There was another condo building across from his and when he went to take a swig of his beer he happened to look up...
and saw a man carrying a woman who was kicking and screaming. My husband thought it was a child, but later found out she was 17 and just a very tiny girl.
The man who was carrying her was her brother, and my husband watched that man walk over to the edge of their balcony and just casually throw her over it. That poor little baby fell 9 stories and was died upon impact.
Just telling me the story made him sob. The man was her brother and his father had ordered him to kill his sister because that brother had followed her to school the day before and saw her holding hands with a boy.
She had to die because she loved someone.
They're called HONOUR KILLINGS.
My husband passed away almost 8 months ago and even after all those years he was still haunted by that memory.

The door has to stay open because the fire burns continuously for warmth. She spends a lot of her day tending the fire and collecting fire wood. The location of the block building was chosen well with one wall to the back of the hill to protect at lease the back of the building from wind. You can see that the cracks between the blocks on the door side of the house have been filled with mud to close the cracks to prevent wind coming in from that site. With the rain the roof that is covered with plastic sheet to prevent the rain from coming in has to be tended also much to keep water from pooling and causing water to enter the house. There is not that much wood either available to burn in the area the trees are sparce on the hillside and far appart the gathering of wood to burn must be limited to already dead material or in a short time the hillside would be barren. She could with the rocks build up terraces and fill them with dirt to plant vegtables in the spring time for harvest and storage for later use in the winter but that would take more work. The question to ask is where is her husband.
