- With everything going on in the World right now we take comfort in the fact that we can still get out and enjoy off roading. That is in part thanks to parks like our local spot Stony Lonesome OHV park Cullman Alabama. They have been open through all of this in order to make sure we can all still get out in the woods and do some RZR riding and rock crawling. If that isn't a Trail Ride Revolution we don't know what is! We have a big group this time with all kinds of vehicles. Toyotas, Rock Bouncers, RZRs, Jeeps, and more all came along for the trip. Adam Lee even showed up with his freshly rebuilt Big Girl Jeep sporting some of the new SX Mega Stickys 50s! We hit most of the awesome trails that this off road park had to offer and had a blast rock crawling like the good ol days. I even broke the Busted Knuckle Mega RZR. Which rig would you choose from this video?
Well i'm a CJ guy so i guess I'll go with the roll over rig, A few tweaks and it will be a sweet rig
The s 10 low cg nice rig that guy that flipped his cg is high and his tires are like balloons needs to air them things down or get smaller tires there just too big there like balloons
I'd take that S-10 truggy, though none of them would hurt my feelings to wheel. And y'all rookie wheelers need to air down them brand new never used tores would have walked everything everywhere if y'all would just let some air out dang
Would y’all mind doing a two door Yukon or Tahoe build they are really cool and stopped making them a while back and it would be really cool to see y’all fix one up like the bronco please do one it would make my day

Super impressive! Start em young and they have no fear. Soon as my boys can press the throttle, I let them drive.
I think he’s 11 or 12. I can’t remember for sure.
He did an awesome job. There's lot of adults that couldn't drive that well.

Please tell the guy in the new, red, rig, he has too much air in his tires. I am sure you guys have already done so.
We did, he was concerned about the sidewalls on the megas. Once he went down to 7psi they did much better.
Looks like it has a pretty high center of gravity as well.

great day for a ride, lots of different rigs/buggies, again great filming as usual too bad you busted a rear axle, good thing its cheaper part and easy to change, that young guy in the Toyota was determined to crawl over the rocks and he gave it a bit more skinny pedal and succeeded ,good times, stay safe and please keep bringing your awesome videos, i don't wheel myself I would love to ride in a rig someday, I am definitely a big spectator and fan of the channel, where i live in Canada is very flat, KEEP'EM COMIN 👍

camera probably doesn't do to much justice, but i bet them hills are STEEP! the way the front ends on some of the rigs lift...cool stuff.

First off love the videos but I would like to suggest to all who wheel to please keep your hands off the roll bars. I tipped mine over while holding the roll bar ended up loosing 2 fingers after 3 surgeries and 6 months off work. Hold the steering wheel or passengers hold your harness. Stay safe.

You would think that Jeep with those huge tires on it would do better than the rest of them, but It seems like those tires are hindering him. Just kinda weird. That young kid in the Toyota did great, and I bet he's going to be one of the best crawlers there is when he's a bit older.
Well that Jeep on 50s is the heaviest of them all and it was his first time out with that rig and tires since a rebuild. He started out at 15psi and worked his way down to 7 before they started working.

Roxxzilla Stickies 35". Never look at pressure just tire bulge.
Matt is your RZR 64" or 72" before the portals? Do you know the width as it sits including portals? Another great trail video BTW!
It was 64 before the portals, not sure now should be close to 72

We appreciate that and have been doing our best to put out more content lately. The RZR usually follows the everyone around no problem, I don't use an air gauge I just look at the amount of tire bulge.
@@BustedKnuckleVideo great! Which was the axle you broke (rear)? Is an OEM one? First time you break one? Why do you think you broke it?
It was a stock driver rear, it ran off in a hole created by that mega 50 and got too much traction when I was in the gas and popped. So far I have only broken one driver front and that one. They are being replaced with some that are just a bit stronger than stock. I don't want to break portal gears.

How well do those disc brakes on the axles work? Looks like a single disc on the pinion to me.
they work quite well but get hot quick, the gear reduction makes them very effective.

IMHO: a) Bigger is not better b) One of the best trends in offroad, in the last years, is to keep a low CG.
low COG is great until you are in a bunch of boulders
If that guy drops some PSI in his tires, then ill subscribe.
It was his first run on the new tires, he went from 15psi down to about 7 before they started working well.
That read jeep needs to take some of the air pressure away from those tires, it looks like to me. Or he needs to set them up with the air bags in them to do the job right. As well as cut those tires so they grip better, they might as well be highway tires if you ask me; they have too much trad in the middle of them so they can't grip the edges of the rocks as well as they should. You didn't really think that buggy was going to stay up with the big boy toys did you? They just don't hold up to the big boy toys designed for those kinds of hill climbs. Up in the high country we learned that years ago. I don't see how that guy in the black buggy rides in it all day long with it squeaking, I would get tired of that long ago and fix it.
He started out with 15psi in the big 50" stickies and ended up at 7 bye the end of the day and it did much better, th e black buggy only started squealing part of the way through the ride.

i feel like everybody could have benefited from 3 or 4 pounds less air in their tires....
there is a fine line between low air pressure and bending wheels when you have to hit something at speed, the mega 50 stickies had to much air for sure everyone else was probably where they needed to be

No worries, if we air down here like when we are at Moab we would destroy wheels. It's a balance. the Megs went from 15 down to 7 and it did way better, It was a trial and error thing for a brand new tire.
@@BustedKnuckleVideo I'm from Ohio and wheel Ky & Tn mostly. But I'm a longtime Landcruiser guy and slow and steady style of wheeling and don't use the go pedal unless absolutely needed. So really just less chance of me bending a wheel since i don't bounce over stuff like you guys. But my fzj80 on 37s is a heavy pig... Lol
for sure, weight makes a big difference too, you would be surprised how light some of these buggies are compared to full body rigs
