Mam, I will use soft natural loofah, coz when we dip loofah it will be very soft ( I’m not talking about the loofah in country drug shop) you will get natural loofah in online.
I prefer to clean with Vibhuti+sambrani cup ashes. I will collect original cow sambrani cup or havan cup ashes for idols, and pooja pathira cleaning
Silver cups just rub with kola mavu it’s also nice
Most imp, please try to clean all the idols and pooja items daily it’s good for family

Should the water boil for 15 mins after silver paathiram is put in OR gas turned off.
